This is a wonderful testimony to the U. S. 82nd Paratroopers! It’s very well done! These men rose to the occasion in freeing Europe from tyranny which had ravaged on for almost 5 years. Their bravery and accomplishments live on!

They had been training for quite a while
82nd had seen combat in sicily
A special breed of men tempting fate yet succeeded in
    Their objectives
    The french paras in indochina
    Had the most combat jumps
    156 between 1946 and 1954!
    If the political situation was
Different the 82 and 101 could
    Have joined them instead of
    Waiting until the 1960s!
    Which was a helicopter war
The french only had limited ones used for evacuating wounded!
