How long did it take for you to find out and do you like it?
Just a nobody trying to be somebody my Walgreens is really good and clean easy job. My Walgreens gets really empty not like any other Walgreens so it gets boring. Overall not bad

What’s the uniform for Shift lead
I work at Walgreens and it’s my absolute favorite job I’ve ever worked at. I’ve worked for about 10 different companies.
I moved up quickly to shift lead but yes it is a lot of hours, schedules all over the place, staying late, coming in early, getting called in when someone calls out.. it’s because it’s a small store and we only have just enough employees. I’ve tried to have second jobs in the beginning, but I found that I make enough money and hours working only for Walgreens.
The job is not for everyone though... it can be strenuous and repetitive.. but it can also be very rewarding.

i used to work at Walgreens, it was great until their stupid change that they had to make in 2015.... I was a Shift Lead and then became an Asst MGR then went back to a shift lead because of the change from $19.99/hr down to $15.00/hr $5 pay cut is alot.....fuck them and the worst of all? Union dues that is required..
My experience with Walgreens for 9 years was wonderful. The call out thing is that if others at other stores call out you are given the chance to pick up their hours, if desired. I worked another store for another person who was on maternity leave. When working at another store away from your base store Walgreens pays the mileage difference. Every store has it's own needs to the face-to-face interviews vary by manager. I left to retire and care for grandchildren while their parents work.

i worked for walgreens for 13 years from 2003 to 2016 my sister worked for the company she put in a good word in for me i had a interview then a few days later i got the job
I got the job at Walgreens! I’m so stoked! I haven’t worked since 2015! I can’t wait to make new friend and also be there for the experience and making people happy shopping at Walgreens

15 years with them love it. Easy advancement and any store should b more then happ with nightsand weekends those are the shifts others dont like...but i do see 5pm start time not working out since am shits typically end around 3 or 4pm

I think he didnt hire you due to the availability. I used to work at Walgreens and I remember my schedule was all over the place. One day I would work 10 to 6 pm, the next 1 to 7 pm and so on. I complained about it but they kept doing that so I eventually quit. Apparently that is how retail goes.

They told me they’d call Friday 😢 they said they were trying to hire 4 people. They said half of the interviews haven’t came in so things are looking good for me. So idk if I’m gonna get it or not.

I like your blouse! I know someone who isn’t very skilled in anything and they work at Walgreens so the thing about you not being qualified is a lie ..good you’re not working there.

I think u dodged a bullet. I worked there years ago, while in HS... I hated it. They expect u to be available all the time... And the work is boring. Consider starting ur own pet sitting business... yup! they do. i just got hired there and it was contingent upon passing a drug screen & background check.

Natalie Muniz yes! they are a zero tolerance company & have you go to a clinic or collection site where you take the urine screen (the drug screen & background check are paid for by walgreens). you have to do it within 48 hours of getting and accepting the job offer. once the drug screen and background check come back good, they will call you to schedule training:)
