The rolled up kimono sleeves also happen when you wear backpacks.
I just found this out a couple days ago because I was buying a fancy kimono while wearing a butterfly backpack and I saw the rolled up sleeves and I was confused
And when your carrying an axe
I noticed when I was wearing the snowflake pochette. I noticed the kimono looked weird but I just shrugged it off cuz it was the first time I was really wearing one
I knew that since a month after playing, now I always wear a backpack when wearing a Kimono cause I think it looks better
Fun fact: more expensive stereo/ record players sound better than cheaper one

Yeah the record players will “skip” or have static and are slightly quieter 🤩 it’s just a neat little detail

This is cute because a long time ago on tumblr, there was a drawing of a little kid letting go of a balloon and the caption said something about him letting go of the balloons because it would eventually get to the aliens. So you saying the aliens are the ones giving the presents, it just makes a full circle for me. I love that

if you have caught and donated the piranha to the museum, it will follow you and try to bite you through the glass if you stand by its tank! it will only do this if you stand for a while by the tank (not if you just walk by) and its little AI might miss you at first and swim past, but if you stand there long enough it will start doing it. I think it's fun that they've even given a thought to the personalities and natures of the fish in the museum!

What I've noticed about the soups is that if it's windy you can see the vapor from the soup being dragged around with the wind. I thought it was a charming little detail and this also happens with smoke from the stone oven.
Just want to let you know: pls keep your pumpkins (and I would recommend to even plant more) because I gained so much money from pumpkins. It's really worth it!

yep, pumpkins are op for bell making. 2 entire ares of my island were pumpkin farms, but i wanted a 5 star rating so i ditched it. working on rebuilding the legacy bigger and better than before.

Fans actually effect flowers and other plant life! When the plants are being blown on by a fan, they even make a rustling sound!

I dont think this is a secret but i think yule log could also be on this list, a lot of people dont know that you can customize them and are wanting the other versions when they can just change it themselves.

Yes, and the green tea flavor one can only be customised and not bought!
Same with anything mom sends you, you can customize so you don’t have any duplicates
The sleeves also roll up if you’re wearing a bag or backpack in certain outfits. So far, the only one that I’ve seen that doesn’t do this with the robe sleeves is the icy dress. Kind of “cool” if you ask me. Ha!

I noticed there's actually a lot of hidden bugs in this room of the museum: there's a centipede or a cockroach sometime on the cupboard of the laboratory, the ants breaking free of the vivarium and the moth mentioned here. At night, there's the beetle "fight club" on the big tree. My guessing is that they wanted to show that Blather is neglecting the bug part of the museum due to his phobia, so it's a bit chaotic.
Just a cute extra detail, in the Southern Hemisphere we actually got the green spring blossoming harvest festival items in the event! It’s specifically chosen what colour for what season you’re in.

In the Southern Hemisphere the villagers hold ice blocks in Summer outside the resident services area! And the sleeves go up when you’re wearing a bag too:)
For the alien in the tv at night: Doesn’t anybody remember in past animal crossing games youd sometimes see an alien space ship in the sky at night and if you use your slingshot and try to hit it it can fall and be gulliver in a space outfit ?

8:12 I think that moth is actually IN bounds, because if you look to your right the wall will turn toward a wall where other bugs are like the grasshopper and crickets, so the moth just managed to escape from it's normal habitat. :)
But it definitely LOOKS like out of bounds from some angles, not gonna lie lol
They don't use spoons for the spup because it's based on Japanese culture. You don't use a spoon for soups here.
It's not just Japanese, we havea few soup in a mug brands one of which is not surprisingly called Cup-a-Soup, they've been around as long as I have and I'm ancient.
The villagers all have different phone cases
I love my pumpkin patches! I use them as additional income and I love how they make my island look. I hope that we get different items to grow in addition to flowers and pumpkins. I love the security wallpaper! It was the very first wallpapers that I got from Saharah. There are ants that are crawling up the wall from the exhibit to the lab where there’s a coffee spill.
Ok, I'm not even MEANING to do this on purpose, but the last week or so I've been watching Mayor Mori and Ben's (Crossing Channel's) videos right after one another. 😅

I think some of the best secrets to discover from items in game are sounds! So many different objects move or make cute sounds when you interact with them. My favorites are the lucky cat and baby chair!
The turkey day items in the Southern Hemisphere are actually spring themed by default, and can be customised to the autumn/orange theme
One of my favorite details was that the sound of running on rocks is different if you aren’t wearing shoes... it’s something so small and when I first noticed it I was stunned by the level of detail that was put into the game
Took me forever to realize you can close the curtains in your house
I got rid of my pumpkins and it brought my island from 5 star to 4 star. Thankful i had stored some. Once i planted them my island went back to 5 star!!

I was trying to build a snowboy whilst watching this and a dung beetle pushed my snowball onto the path, making the body too small, so my snowboy isn't perfect :(
@@icancounttopotato18 you have to find one that already exists. They won't spawn if you have too much stuff on your island (furniture, flowers, trees etc) so maybe try clearing up your island and they should spawn

@@icancounttopotato18 Also I've noticed that dung beetles roll them into rocks, trees, onto the beach or into rivers. I ran around the island collecting shells and saw the snowballs - I thought I'd come back. But I didn't come back for an hour, and they were gone! When I went inside they respawned in a totally different place. Another time only one disappeared. I'm presuming the dung beetle. In any case I went inside and came immediately back out and the second one had respawned nearby the first.

Correction, on the southern hemisphere we didn't even have to customize the Turkey Day items, they already came with the Spring Blooming colors as the default ones for us, also, the whole event was very green and fully based on Spring instead of Fall

One thing I recently discovered is standing in the last spot of the silhouettes in the last fossil room in the museum. The player is the "last" "fossil". Also, the paths on the floor throughout the fossil section show paths of evolution.

Actually, while wearing kimono your sleeves will be kilted up if you are wearing any kind of backpack or cross-body bag, or even the impish wings. Daisy Mae’s sleeves are kilted up, too! Such a fun detail!

Bruh water your pumpkins at least 2x per growing session, (4 days) and you'll get 3 pumpkins per plant. And they make money plus take up less space than a tree that only bears 3 fruit. I have a HUGE pumpkin patch (in May) and it's an easy hustle. Hope someone who needs to see this does see this.
I have the villager Bea and her house is a cafe with the same soup the villagers drink! So I think it’s so cute, maybe Bea is the one giving out soup to every villiger?

Barold has that CCTV wallpaper. At first I thought it was a little odd and creepy, but now I find it endearing. Barold is 100% my favorite character I have had on my island so far. I have seen lists of "characters that everyone hates", and Barold is on the list and I am confused, he's adorable, and sweet, and he loves me and I would hurt anyone who hurts him. 🤣💝

It's mostly luck, but as long as you talk to them every day and give them gifts, eventually they'll give you their portrait. The higher your friendship level, the higher your chances.
If the space around your decorated cedar trees with lights aren't filled with flowers, branches, rocks, etc. you can shake your tree over and over and over again until you get all 14 ornaments - but you need to stand behind it. I sometimes think that shaking it from different sides makes it go faster, too,

Hey I found another little detail! When you're walking on a dirt path while it's raining, you'll leave behind trails as if you're walking in mud. I haven't seen ppl talk abt this at all 😅

There are multiple hidden bugs in the museum! I know there are at least 3, including the moth. There's also a centipede hiding on a light and some ants that escaped

Whenever I customise photos I go for the gold one then I cover them in my walls for my gold room

When I first started playing I was obsessed with backpacks/purses and also the kimonos. But I was driving myself crazy trying to figure out why the sleeves wouldn’t go down!! Lol

According to the movie the presents are sent by aliens or at least possibly. It's Celeste's theory that she shows Ai (the protagonist) in the credits
I have 2 secrets :
1. If you eat fruits than sit on a toilet, you will "evacuate" the fruits you ate
2. If you push a villager that is sitting on the ground, they will get up and walk away without being mad at you

I'm not sure if it's a fluke or not but it seems like my decorated pine trees give extra blue ornaments if I harvest wood first. I only go 2 blue before I harvested and got at least double that after.
