- In this video, Simone review’s the 2018 Mazda6 in its GT trim.
It’s a heavily facelifted version of the outgoing Mazda 6 and is set to see this latest family sedan well into 2019.
There are two engines available - a twin turbo 2.2 diesel with 140 kW of power and 450 Nm of torque and a 2.5 turbo petrol with 170 kW of power and 420 Nm of torque.
The new Mazda6 will be available to the Australian market as either a sedan or wagon.

great to finally see turbos being added, just if they would just give us some in UK, our new Mazda 6 gets the 2.5L just no turbo!!! CX-5 badly needs it for uphill overtaking. Great review.
i have one in canada. a 2018 mazda 6 signature. same engine. actually it is 227hp on 87ron fuel and 250hp on 93ron fuel. torque stay the same at 310 pound feet.

Simone's back :) Although I thought the idea with front fog lights were they're low on the car to cut through the fog at road level. Not sure what use they'd be high up with the main headlights.

The way you have your hands on the steering wheel does my head in! Why do women drive like this when the cat manufacturer designs thumb notches and designs everything around that hand position for close reach to functions without moving ones hands? Also the way you have your hands on the wheel make it top heavy rather than having your hands at the out most part for stability when driving.

Because there's no way she could actually have an opinion about the car she is sitting in and driving? That's logic for you
No, because I am 60 years of age, and she is a pretty young girl, who's opinion has zero relevance to me and my motor vehicle needs. I also prefer the presenter to have broad and deep experience in the automotive industry with extensive comparative experience of cars. She on the other hand presented a shallow summary that I could find on the dealer's website and she was almost certainly reading a script written for her. Sexist on my part? Maybe. But I know what I need and that was not it.
@@ConstantineAtByron Don't think this was meant to be an in-depth, detailed review. Having said that she covered all the important bits, and this review was inline and comparable to others (done by males if you prefer and it seems you do) I've seen for this car on the internet.
