- If you've never heard of the Oliver 1250, you are not alone! In the mid-1960's, this high crop tractor was built by Fiat for Oliver, mainly for use in vegetable farming. Fiat also built a 1250, the same tractor, that was painted and badged as a Cockshutt. John Zakovec of Nebraska loved collecting rare and unusual tractors -- and these two fit right in. Enjoy!

Awesome 👍
Very impressive! I am a bit jealous of his collection!
Beautiful tractors. Amazing luck on being able to save something from the scrap yard.
Mr. John Zakovec sure does have a pair of beauties there, I can see what he's saying about what more could a man want. Thanks
Great job from Ireland
I encountered one of these Fiat-Olivers in Bossier Parish, Louisiana in 1997. The guy wanted $1200.
Glad he found it before it was scrapped such a beautiful tractor thanks for sharing

Importing Fiat tractors to North America started with Cockshutt and that is what White kept from Cockshutt including the combine line
No it started with Oliver then cockshutt
@@shaunault7538 if ya think your so smart what Fiat Model was the first one used by them I bet ya don't
@@goatfarmmb fuctard I guarantee I do

"Only 3 Cockshutt 1250 tractors are known to exist today". No. There are probably well over a thousand of 1250's of all other chassis styles still in existance, but only 3 Cockshutt 1250 hi-crops sounds reasonable.
The unusual sound of a 1250 Diesel is due to its extremely high 21.5 to 1 compression ratio. Almost all other diesels operate at about 15 to 1.
Yip an my neighbor has a cockshutt 1250 Hi-Crop
Fiat 415
Oliver didnt buy Cockshutt, White Motor Company bought them. Cockshutt and Moline went the way of the DoeDoe bird. White screwed all three companies trying to keep their truck division afloat…….
Oliver Cockshutt and MM went away about the same time, but your right thought White bought Cockshutt but Cockshutt became a subsitary of Oliver. The Fiat tractors where imported by Cockshutt first and that is what they kept after Cockshutt was bought
Yes oliver did u r wrong
White did buy oliver & moline
@@shaunault7538 smartass it was White that bought them, Oliver was bought by White in 1960, in 1962 White bought Cockshutt then in 1963 Minneapolis Moline
Your right, White bought Oliver in 1960 and MM around that time and then bought Cockshutt in 1962. Oliver never did buy or own Cockshutt.
