Yes! It is wonderful for this kind of work. It really allows you to see what you are doing when trying to quilt such very small spaces. But, yes, it’s use is limited to this-definitely won’t work for stitch-in-the-ditch.

I’m embarrassed to say I’ve had mine for at least 6 months and finally put it on. Weird at first, but you can sure see a lot!!
I have had one for 2 plus years and never tried it. Exciting I wonder if it's good for stitch in the ditch??? I will try it out.
The only downside to this foot is not being able to use a ruler, so ditch stitching wouldn’t work. Really only for micro quilting.
Kelly, what settings do you have on your machine, and what thread/weight do you use. I've been wanting to get this foot.... seeing this is going to be giving me a big push. (I need other feet as well, so it may lead to a big shopping spree.LOL) Thank you for showing this comparison.
Not sure what you mean by settings. I use Glide 40 weight thread. I'm in precision because I like everything to stop when I do. I know many like Cruise, but it's just not my preference.
