@@SpeargrassForge work a little slower with wood if that's what you're u are using. Easy to remove too much too fast.

No. This was draw filing. Hot filing or hot rasping is done at red hot. John switzer of Blackbear Forge has some great vids on hot rasping.
@@SpeargrassForge I meant the fitting of the guard and of the pummel / handle cap at the end of the seax :D
