I now recognize most of the herbs I plant but for a while i had to label them too. I can learn so much when gardening its my happy place. I garden in pots and everyday I have to water something,and when it gets really hot i water everyday. I too decided to plant less this year.

No chance. I now do homesteading videos. When I started doing videos of PR back in 2015 there were no serious youtubers on the island at the time. Now there are hundreds. I like to think I paved the way, but it was unsustainable for me since I live in the states.
