I own the old square bottle of ivory route and purchased the new bottle and I have to say the old bottle juice is even more potent, can be a good or bad thing depending on the person. Im actually happy I have both versions because sometimes I don't want to be a projection monster then I reach for the new bottle, but if I'm going to be outdoors than the old bottle will do the trick.
Ivory Route still my fav from the brand. 😁 No doubt in my mind that clone brands are currently working on the Babycat formula too. And with how they've been improving over the last few years (Alhambra's The Tux a good example), there should be one released within months. Total guess, but scarcity does seem to increase demand!
If you like Xerjoff Ivory Route and YSL Babycat you will also like Amouage Material (for women). All 3 are the great. I think the note you like and call it "plastic or gasoline like" is benzoin.
I haven’t tried babycat yet, but to me this oriental very closely resembles Memo African leather and Tauer Desert… have you tried/compared it to those?

Ivory Route's great. I own it. And at the prices it can be found for, it's a comparative bargain. The scent-bubble is terrific. But better than Babycat? Don't think so. YSL's got a serious winner in Babycat. And I love that it comes in a125 ml. bottle. You can chew through a 50 ml. Ivory Route pretty fast. Performance-wise though, it's tough to beat Xerjoff. YSL, like virtually all designer fragrances is far too light on the performance chart.
Similar perhaps, but not that much. Ivory Route has an herbal accord to complement the vanilla. As far as Nishane goes, I found Hacivat far more interesting than Ani.

I think Xerjoff fragrances are a little bit better than Initio or Amouage. I Love Accento Overdose by Xerjoff 💗💗

When I sampled Ivory Route, my impression was it smelled soooo similar to Nishane Ani. I have Ani so I’m curious if anyone things they’re similar?
I have ani as well. But I don’t wear it enough to notice the similarity.

Similar, but barely. I like Ani, but believe Ivory Route is better. My favourite from Nishane is HACIVAT - the oak moss accord is righteous.
