I bought 2 weeks ago, it does so well on my skin and is now my signature scent.
Yes i just got a 8 ml samples. I like it, its more milky on my like commodity milk mixed with by the fire place! Its not veryyyyyy spice but the spice is there its just smooth and soft!
I just got my bottle of Babycat today and looove. FYI Babycat is a famous print that YSL had white with black leopard spots, was popular with their shoes etc so nothing to do with an actual Babycat lol a tribute to that design
as soon as I heard the notes I thought to myself, "she's going to love this one!" Great review!!

I’ve heard it is overhyped and it does not last very long which I tend to believe very few fragrances last beyond 5 hours. Would love to see ppl say after wearing for a while - thank you for the review!

The parfumer of this fragrance is Dominique Ropion and in 2021 he also made fragrance called Vanagloria from Laboratorio olfattivo that is supposed to smell identical to Ysl Babycat.

In Europe the Babycat is almost sold out. Only France, UK and Ireland have it but you have to be resident of those countries.
I have both Vanagloria and Babycat. They are NOT identical. At the most, they are 40-50% similar.
Vanagloria has a strong pineapple top note and is missing the pepper that Babycat has...and Vanagloria is MUCH sweeter than Babycat. They ARE both Dominique Ropion creations...but they are merely similar, in that you can tell they are both his "children".

I bought decants and decided I DID love it but thought it actually getting/affording a full bottle would be difficult. I sourced a bottle at a reasonable price Saturday...and it will be delivered today...three days later!!!
