- DPF system installed in bs 6 diesel engine to meet bs 6 regulation .the diesel particulate filter (DPF) system removes the soot/particulate matter in the exhaust gas .possible conditions for DPF lamp indication are...
1.repeated short distance driving
2.repeated low speed driving
3.driving in traffic condition
4.impreper fuel and engine oil use
for DPF self regeneration this steps must be followed ...
1.fuel level 1/4
2.hood/bonnet open
3.coolant temperature above 80°c
4.gear position P for auto and N for manual
5.parking brake engage
6.engine at idle
7.ac on & blower max speed
8.head lamp on(high)
9.rear de fogger on
*use maximum load on engine
DPG regeneration can take 40min to 1hr and exhaust gas temperature will goes up to approx 700°c so please park your car at open space .

Just drive 100KM per hour in highway ( cautious for saftey) once in a week or month. This happens if you drive low rpm or city driving.

In BS6 diesel vehicle do we need to clean the DPF filter as well. Able to see frequent DPF Regeneration alerts inspite of doing multiple Regenerations in Hyundai Creta. Especially when we drive in city stop and go traffic. Didn't face any issues for the first one year. I see frequent Regeneration issue after second service in Jan 2023. Looks like they have updated the software. Thanks!

Informative video.. its old video but i have a question if someone here has the ans. Have 2020 Oct seltos diesel AT, 18.5k run in 3yrs. No regeneration message till now but another issue is my engine makes loud tak tak noise on slow speeds mostly i assume when changing gear from 2nd to 3rd while travelling 20-30 kms distance. Kia ASC changed fuel injectors but after 1 yr noise started coming again. I drive mostly slow on Eco mode in pune city. Is the noise because i drive slow and do not rev engine that much as i also changed fuel station from BP to HP. Except this noise there is no issue. Any help is really appreciated. Thank you.

Traveling on Highway is the only solution. Generally i drive my ES about 70-80 km at average speed 60-80 at 2000rpm.

Happens with every BS6 diesel engine. Engines that are in Crysta, Safari and higher end cars have a different functionality to sort this out. If you go with Seltos or Creta or Nexon, this is common.

I was facing hard Cluth with low pick up in Verna fluidic so I changed clutch plate and pressure plate and bearing. Even after changing them clutch is hard but pickup is increased what should I do
clutch all time hard or after hot clutch hard?
(use genuine pressure plate mobise paking and hyundai stamp)...after hot case replace clutch release cylinder.

Hi bro,i watch all of your videos without fail,i have one query .I had installed relay harness some time back for halogen 100/90 bulbs ,now i have purchased crystal eye led with 60 watt ,each bulb,now do I need to remove the relay harness or the led bulbs can be installed directly on the relay harness..pls reply
if its 60watt then you can use direct .

@@2677d the standard rating for halogen bulbs for cars with H4 is 55/60w. If u replace with a LED less than this rating, no need for relay harness.

2 hi hosakta hai but maximum time air bag light on hota hai...kavi kholke dekhne se aap ko samaj aayega sir ,clock spring k andar patla patla (4/5/6) bohot se line bana hua wire hota hai .wiring resistance high/low hone pe airbag light on ho jata hai but tut ne se horn nehi bajta.
