A pie is a baked dish which is usually made of a pastry dough casing that contains a filling of various sweet or savoury ingredients. In this video, we'll be making a savoury pie with chicken & vegetable filling made in Indian Style. The top & bottom crust of the pie is made with puff pastry sheet. This Chicken pie with puff pastry and vegetables is really a comfort food and is very easy to prepare.

Ingredients:
Puff pastry sheets
Chicken 600g
Mixed vegetables 1 - 1.5 cups
Onion 1 small finely chopped
Ginger garlic paste 1tsp
Turmeric powder 1/4 tsp
Chicken masala powder 2 - 2. 5 tsp
Fennel seeds powder 1 - 2 tsp
Pepper powder 1/2 - 1 tsp
Cornflour / cornstarch 2 tbsp
Water 3 tbsp
Oil 2 tbsp

Notes :
1. Filling - You can use any meat & vegetables of your choice.
2. Baking - At 200 deg C or 400 F for 20 minutes. Baking time might vary depending on your oven.
3. Do remember to completely thaw the puff pastry sheets before use.

Yes . You can bake it in a ramekin . Make sure u grease the ramekin before you line it with puffs pastry sheet..or u could just add the filling directly into the ramekin & seal the top with puffs pastry sheet, similar to a pot pie..Thanks for dropping by..😊
