There is always things to do on these old vehicles. Quite a list of repairs. Will keep you busy and we'll have lots of content to watch. A good wash will make things look a lot better. And lots of help too. The cruse looks like a lot of fun. Look forward to more. Be safe and stay well.

Get the bus under a roof and keep it dry and well ventilated.Tarps and covers will accelerate corrosion. Then relax and don’t worry about the leaks etc.I’ve got a ‘48 f1 with all the same issues as the bus,it’s garage kept and I get to it as I’m inclined to.Y block needs more frequent oil changes to keep the oil passages clean, sounds like your doing that right.Good job on the presentation and content.

@@CountryBoyGasGarageYup, this guy is right. Like I mentioned last year keep the oil clean. Y blocks are known for upper end problems. Especially with sludgy oil passages. Peace Buddy ✌️😎👍

I just sent Rick from CZcams’s Classic Truck Rescue down your way, Elmira), to get a ‘56 GMC short Fleetside bed made into a trailer. The good stuff, as you know is still out there, but really really hard to find.
(BTW, this was his worst rescue as he had to take the garbage that was in it….around 100 well used stinky rotten diapers). Film at 11….
You were sure blessed to find the 1948 Ford.
Looking forward to watching anything on it’s continued resurrection.

From one of your Florida fans, thanks for taking us along on the cruise! Jason, I'd like to see you start on some of the metal work that needs to be done where the rust has really eaten away at the body. I know it will take some time to get it all addressed. I think that it is important to check the progression of that "cancer." Anyway, love you and your beautiful family! God bless you all.

Great job with the Bus Jason ! I think you should improve your watertight integrity ( Cowl repairs , window replacement, door repairs ) as time and money allows. Perhaps a portable shelter to keep it in out of the weather which would allow you to work on it . I have three of these shelters and they are a great " Poor Mans " garage. Thanks for your videos.

Your right there Phil. I told Jason about the shelters last year. I have a shelter logic. I put roofers plastic over the dirt floor and covered that with plywood. It's nice and dry in there. It's warm and dry even in the winter. 👊😎👍

If both ends of the crossover pipe do not mate to their respective manifold surfaces without forcing the mating surfaces to seat together with the force of the nuts... it will stress the ends of the manifolds and cause the manifolds to crack. Next time you work on it take an honest assessment of how well each end of the crossover pipe gits flush just holding by hand. If either end has a gapn cut the tube and rotate each end to mate without force to its manifold then reward the tube. Or else you will eventually have another broken manifold
