He will surely become a very good driver, he just needs to work on his steering control on sharp turns and a bit on undue hesitation.
But still, a great drive considering he's a learner, almost ready to get his licence.
Very smart kid, for the spiral roundabouts, I'm pretty sure he has learned the lesson and will surely improve, so all set!

I live and passed my test in MK, the planners of the city do love a roundabout! Tends to keep the traffic flowing pretty well for the most part!
Very encouraging overall. I've about the same amount of experience and saw much that was familiar in his strengths & weaknesses to my own driving. Plus, I learned a bit about when the lights are out on a roundabout - wasn't aware you were supposed to advance to an imaginary give way line.
Milk and Beans!! SO many roundabouts here, unless you are right downtown, then it's all junctions and lights. The 70 MPH speed limit is more than a little ridiculous when there's a junction ever quarter mile.
Lived in the MK area for nearly 10 years, never liked driving in the area, as you mentioned 70 mile speed limit was too much. Great for shopping/entertainment though 😊

He did amazing . Some bits maybe a bit quick into them. The spiral part you got a serious i was like i cant believe you did that as you where doing so well. Then on the next spiral when taking 4th exit when you counted the 2nd exit and in the 3rd lane you will see your lane splits now take the left split then as you go past the 3rd exit again your lane will split take the left split checking its safe, you are now in the perfect lane to exit 4th exit . If you cant get to the left lane to exit aim to use the right lane to exit. Just keep an eye on the car in the left lane and make sure they take the exit. Ideally have them in front as its easier to react to what they do . Just a bit of practice and you're there . On the whole well driven

I’m currently learning to drive and I live in MK - the roundabouts are definitely something!!!
That big roundabout is crazyyyyyy!
The problem with the roundabout is that it is huge and designed for traffic light control. at 17:38 looking at road sign 4th exit is marked (M1), Bedford, Milton Keynes East, A422 and solid black triangle route diversion. At 18:01 we pick lane 3. Notice lane 2 and 3 go to Milton Keynes East, so lane 2 would have been slightly easier as it is on our list. Always pick a suitable lane which is furthest to the left. We go on extreme right hand lane on roundabout. At 18:58 a road sign shows three lanes 2 and 3 go to MK(E) which we want. 19:04 we lose a lane and are down to two. We should move a lane to left if safe. It will simplify eventual exiting. Unfortunately we stayed in right hand lane but at 19:15 where our lane dives we must choose the left half. Even doing this means we are still a lane too far out to the right for simplicity. If we were in extreme left lane at 19:20 we just need to close down on kerb line and exit in lane 1. This would have been easiest option. Because we are in lane 2 at 19:23 we need to exit onto lane 2 of exit by following the white line to our left. At 19:26 we can see a road sign with a Blue Square M1 marking showing us the point we needed to be going off at. Remember the big list we started with. This roundabout without traffic lights working is nothing like what you are likely to encounter on test!
In ur test, you’d never touch that roundabout as it’s outside of the Bletchley test area - happy to be proved wrong though!

This is where I learned! But I passed last may first time in Bedford because I couldn’t get any tests in Bletchley, if anyone has the same problem try Bedford and Northampton test centres :)

A suggestion for when you circle around to your next MK video in the future. You could look to include more of the Bletchley area, especially the Roman and Denbigh roundabouts. They are the "fun" ones which are usually part of the test routes!
Lol the amount of learners I see in Bletchley. Between the roundabouts, one ways, speedbumps, the college roundabout and all the crossings and lights 💀

Everyone has their off days, I believe her intentions were correct but she got flustered quickly with so many vehicles in such a small space. Perhaps she has only recently passed her test.
I’ve never seen such a great drive on these videos, it’s just a shame that Inshal picked up those two serious faults. But these are easily corrected so he should smash the actual test.
A lot of good driving there Inshall, but don't be in such a rush to get going, I also noticed quite often even when driving quite fast you're pressing the clutch before the brake, this is a bad habit you need to get out of. As you approach the junction, roundabout or hazard in the road, brake to bring the car down to the speed you want it at, then press the clutch and select the appropriate gear to match the speed of the car. Good luck with your test and come back and let us know how you got on.

Compared to this, my test in the US was nothing. My instructor took me 4 blocks down the road and had me parallel park where there were no cars then make a U turn and go back. Luckily, I had been taking lessons from my mom who is very safe. I can't imagine who else they passed.

I still don't understand what his first serious was. wasn't he checking his left mirror before switching lanes leftwards?
If you look at the lines, you'll notice he briefly cuts into the lane on his right before re entering the lane he was already in

During the reversing manoeuvre is it ok that he just let the car roll instead of controlling it with clutch? My instructor told me to never do this?
my instructor says if the bay is downhill just use gravity and let the car roll but cover the brake
A those low speeds engaging the clutch would speed you up as the minimum speed of the reverse gears is higher than he was doing. Slowly letting off the break and rolling back is the right call.
