City Update #29 - Finishing Up The City Gardens!

Finally getting around to filling out and lighting the "new" middle section which features the Ninjago Dragon Stone Shrine. This area was a lot of fun to create. I did have to work it into the existing sides, but that made it a fun challenge. I also tried a couple of new techniques for making flowers, such as using the paint brushes upside inside leaves. Also got the beehive area cleaned up with the new crates in white that look so much better than the nougat crates. And then lit everything. I also finally got the building plugged in and I think the result was fantastic. I was a little worried about not having enough pathway lighting, but I really think letting the plants illuminate the surrounding area adds a really nice effect that is hard to come across in the video, the pictures at the end might give a little better feel of what it looks like in person.

First, the lights look really great. Second, that's a great idea using the paintbrushes as plants. I'm going to have to remember that when I get around to flowers and such.
