I've had a Dremel Multitool Pro #395 (10k to 37k) for around 20-odd years. The chuck is nearly worn out, and the button to unlock the shaft is really stiff, but it has worked every time I've needed it. It was made in Mexico, not sure if that is normal. It is easily my oldest power tool. Nice video. I might upgrade soon. $0.02

There is a tool that has more power than any Dremel, if you really need to step up to a professional level, but still need to use 1/8th inch Dremel bits.
Foredom are industrial strength flex-shaft tools with power ratings measured in terms of horsepower (1/3, 1/10, 1/5) . They are a lower RPM, but far higher torque, running at a single speed and turning in only one direction. They have multiple detachable handpieces used for different diameter shaft bits (1/8th ", 1/4" ) as well as adjustable chucks and foot-switch controllers. They last for many years - we have used the same one in our shop since 2005.
We also found that using a Dremel all day made our hands numb due to the vibration, so we switched over to Korean-made micromotor tools that ran smoother and faster. The real Korean tools are extremely expensive - The Chinese copies are cheaper and of far lower quality. They get hot very quickly, are noisy and vibrate more. Use real Korean micromotor tools if you buy one. They are worth the cost.
