I'm at a conference right now, and the entertainment was a guy with a doctorate in guitar - and he played this exact sequence of songs! 😂 That cannot be a coincidence.
She is playing a classic guitar, and that's the right way to hold a classic guitar. If it was an acoustic or electric guitar, she would probably hold it the popular/standard way.
This is in actuality how all guitars are meant to be played, more ergonomic and such. But outside of classical music, the now common stances developed, probably out of lack of formal training and for looks. Some rock musicians do use this stance with their strap.

I’m a devout metal head and when I practice or play sitting down I sit in the classical position as well. I even have this little adjustable foot stool to raise up right leg. I’ve played for years and my advice would be to sit in the classical position while playing and practicing.Good posture does help with technique especially when you’re first starting out. Often how players of classical guitar holds it, as those guitars have a fairly wide fretboard compared to other acoustic guitars, making it easier to play in an almost upright position so that you can position your left hand similar to how you would on a cello or contrabass. You normally wouldnt hold a "normal" acoustic guitar with a narrower fretboard this way.

I’d call it extreme appreciation because you actually take time to compare your own skills instead of taking for granted the mastery of the artist. Envy is also typically accompanied by someone becoming very critical of the works produced with a heavily negative bias. You seem to deviate from that as well. You’re simply in awe and that’s a beautiful thing!

Another tip. If you feel more contracted than the emotion is closer to envy or jealousy, if you feel more expansive than the emotion is closer to appreciation or awe. If the emotion drives a desire to improve for your own sake and enjoyment, rather than to be better than someone else it’s helpful.

Nearly every electric player that owns a flying V holds their guitar that way. She has some sort of contraption to make it easier holding an acoustic with the large body like that though. You can see it hooked over her leg.
