This sorta music isn't necessarily popular right now. When Deadmau5 came around like 2007-2013 was the perfect time because that's when electro house, house, trance, techno were big. So was dubstep, Dnb, etc. EDM rules over other electronica because people still go to shows but like I said unless theres a huge boost in Electronica these artists will remain small. Now rap, trap music, pop, not to mention underground rap, gothboi rap is the most viewed music. I mean theres the basic shit like chainsmokers, Tiesto, hardwell, calvin harris, martin garrix that get crazy views but that shit has become basic pop music now.

+CONDESCENT If you actually believe that, you aren't listening well enough. Deadmau5 tends to use plucks in almost all of his recent tracks, while most of No Mana's songs don't have them. Also, No Mana uses samples or instruments in ways that Deadmau5 doesn't even attempt. Consider for example siren[0], and it's intro. That use of reverb is never seen with Deadmau5. Or for example, this song, with the recurring sample starting at about 0:45, which serves as background noise for the rest of the song. I don't remember Joel doing that either.
They have nothing to do. No song in RAT will be similar to a song from No Mana and no song of Deadmau5 is similar to this one.

Can guarantee you they will. Anyone on Mau5trap will. Sure they'll experiment, but it won't be for money. It'll be out of creativity. Mau5trap is hands down the label most focused on music and creativity. They're the best right now that's for sure and it definitely wasn't that way for a long time.
