+bhargav desai I don't really know the right way to explain it but basically refers to Hollywood being racist and stereotyping and also having no diversity.
+bhargav desai Hollywood has a tendency to cast people in bland roles, so gay actors will often play straight characters and non-white actors tend to play stereotyped roles. In the US, people from India and Pakistan are often cast as computer technicians because of the engineering education from the Subcontinent. Gay characters tend not to be shown because a lot of American audiences are uncomfortable with homosexuality and Hollywood is worried that having gay characters will make people not see the movie.
Theomite The whole world is uncomfortable with homosexuality. America and England are some of the most pro gay countries. You get labeled a homophobe if you think homosexuality is wrong. There's parades and an LBGT community that pushes gay people into the media.

It was held at the Santa Monica Pier. And as someone who has spent probably a quarter of her life on ships, boats, and ferries, the rocking is kind of inevitable. Though I haven't personally been to the location at hand so I may not know fully.
