ADDENDUM: if you don't have jetpack/vlad's/spring shoes/any vertical mobility, you won't be able to reach to and whip olmec's floaters in phase 2 unless you jump off of the push block. after you destroy the floaters once, olmec falls down far enough that you can just jump and whip his floaters without any equipment or a higher vantage point.
This is almost identical to what I already do. The only difference is that for phase 3 I take Olmec to the very left so I only have one UFO to deal with
I can do the fight consitently but i take longer because of bomb strat or i just take the aliens out slowly so this will definitely improve my gamplay thx
You'll only cling to olmec if you take your feet off the ground, but you'll have to be much more careful about when you run back towards olmec after he destroys another row and you are in the air for a second. I once lost a REALLY good jungle run with jetpack and all because i got too complacent with climbing gloves and phase 1, haha.

If you get olmec up against the left wall in phase 3 you only have to deal with 1 ufo
