  • New videos released of the traffic stop that led to Tyre Nichols’ death show different angles of the response and reaction after the beating. But they don’t answer a lot of questions - like why Nichols was stopped by police in the first place.

I don't understand what the Scorpion Unit was on because nothing they said or did justified in killing a innocence man... he was not reckless driving because he stopped at the light and he was almost home but they had other planned for Tyre Nichols....my condolences for him and his famiy and friends.

They stopped the wrong car. Off of what another officer put out on the radio about a blue car speeding. These devils thought that that was the car. Because there is a part in the discussion. As they are talking to their sergeant about why they did what they did. A radio call came in from that officer saying he's got that person in custody. You hear the officer say how he got somebody in custody. Then you can see and hear the confusion of them. Now, they are trying to justify stopping the wrong car and brutalizing an innocent man.. Because at that moment, they knew they Fuked up..

How Can We See those 43 New Videos with More than 20 Hours of New Footage???
I Cannot Find Them.....Even Though it's So Painful to Watch, Tyre is Worth It. His Pain and Suffering, Should Be Our Pain and Suffering.
How I Wish I Had Been a Neighbor that Night....I Wouldn't Have Stood By and Did Nothing....I Never Saw Not 1 Neighbir Come Outside To Help Tyre...What a Shame! They Heard His Screams for His Mother. Being a Mother, I Would Have Done Everything In My Power To Save Tyre, No Matter What. And I Would Have Sent My Son To Get His Mama! (and if I Died Trying To Save Him, He Was Worth it!) That's What a Mother Does.
I Also Want To Say To The News Station The Following:
Is the news station Aware that Tyre's Mother RowVaughn was Never Allowed to See Her Son as He Laid Struggling for His Life for 3 Long Days. He Died ALONE, Tragedy on top of Tragedy for this Beautiful Mother. I just Wish the News Would Make This Known to the Public.
Even After Beating Tyre To Near Death, (on Purpose Because They Wanted To), There is No Other Reason! They Murdered Him, and Tyre Suffered Immensely!
The Torture and Pain he Endured by a Pack of Wild Animals is Absolutely Disgusting and I Pray God will Seek His Vengeance Upon Each and Every One Of those Monsters and Charge them with:
Aggravated Murder, Murder, Aggravated Kidnapping, Aggravated Battery and Assault, Official Misconduct and Official Oppression. With Life Sentences for All! That would be Justice.....A Life for a Life...
At Any Point in the Beating, Not 1 Officer Stopped It. They Joined In. They ALL Made Conscious Decisions that Night to Beat the Shit out of Tyre and if He Dies, Oh, Well, he shouldn't have Run. Isn't that what the New Video Shows .....The Cops Trying to Justify the Henious Acts they All Committed.
Once Again My Heartfelt Condolences to Tyre's Mother, Step Father, Bothers, Sister and Extended Family for Your Loss of a Wonderful Young Man, Father, Son, Brother, Uncle, Cousin, Friend.🙏🙏🙏🙏😢💔 ⚖️Justice for Tyre!♥️

It's ALWAYS a sketchy business to "prevent crime." The premise of many policing campaigns run the risk of violating the law. That is to say, the US Constitution is LAW along with many other civil rights laws on the books. As much as many crime victims out there would enjoy the idea of "preventing crime" it's actually an impossible thing to hope for and also an often dangerous thing to hope for. Our legal system was built on the notion that probable cause begins the process. Without evidence, there is no probable cause.
But I get it that police behave this way. I somewhat believe I might begin to think the way they do over time. Think of it -- they are exposed daily to some of the worst and most dangerous people because it is their job to do so. But what happens to their hearts and minds over time? It's a dangerous job and when they so often encounter dangerous and bad people, complicated by the factual reality that they can't know ahead of time whether or not an encounter will become deadly? It's not merely a tough job, in some ways it's an impossible job in terms of always being in a correct and legal state of mind while doing it.
I'm not excusing police when this happens. I'm only trying to understand and to help others understand how this happens.
And I do NOT blame innocent victims for when this happens. But I do blame criminals who celebrate and promote a CULTURE of dangerous crime. This is not a White, Black, Asian or Hispanic thing... each groups have VERY famous criminal cultures within ranging from mobsters, fraudsters and hackers and lots more. We made movies long ago romanticizing the criminal gangsters as far back as Al Capone and long before that as an example. I once got into this discussion with a co-worker of color and I hope I gave her something to consider. I told her that for the most part white people do not "own" their criminals. White people DISOWN their criminals. We might have in certain times and places but generally and at large we do NOT. But what do we see in modern black culture today? Just to be considered "black" among black people, you have avoid doing things that could be called "acting white." This can include things like "getting a job and working your tail off for pay so you can pay your bills and try to keep your head above water." I'm reminded of this "bucket of crabs" analogy where if you try to remove one crab from a bucket of crabs, the other crabs in the bucket will grab, hold onto or even destroy the crab in the process. (of course the analogy fails because crabs are FOOD and not people, but you get the idea I hope)
I feel there is a growing movement in some black communities where this is being discouraged. This movement needs to spread. Black people in the USA are NECESSARY PEOPLE and I mean that sincerely. Regardless of how people see them or saw them in the past, there's no denying the social and cultural progress black people, as a group, bring to this country and eventually the world. Music and dance and food and language and countless other things whether directly or indirectly, the black people of the USA are often on the leading edge of US American culture and social progress. So to avoid losing this, I pray this movement of correcting the support of crime as a "culture" is done away with.
I told my son long ago, your name becomes an adjective to people. Let's call him "Billy." If he does a good job in some way, he "Billied" it! If he does a bad job in some way, he "Billied" it! That's the power of reputation. I look forward to the day when someone says "they blacked it up" and it means something amazing. No one says that about "whiting things up" either so this criticism goes both ways. We all benefit when everyone does better and I don't care who you are or "what kind" you are whatever that kind may be. Every time you do nice things for others? You just changed a reputation for the better. Could be your reputation or it could be the reputation of men or of women. It could be the reputation of black or white people. It could be the reputation of gay or lesbian people. It doesn't matter. Positive acts do this over time. You can't just do it once and expect to make the world a better place.
