My son skipped many of the in between stages. I hardly started enjoying his crawl but his focus was always on trying to stand. By 10th month he was standing and managed to take a step or two. And since the day he managed to stand his next target is to run.
Now he is 2 year old. We hardly saw him walk as he always run.
He is in such a rush to grow up don't what he has to do once he's grown.

At this stage babies are moving freely and they can put some thing in their mouth.. It may harm them or may make problem for you and your children.
So becareful and follow him all the times. Remove all the things from the area of baby movement.
Some one said his baby is moving backward.
Do not worry. Your baby feels weakness. After some period he will be all right. He needs some help and practice to move forward
It is amazing to see babies playing and moving.

This is exactly what my little man is going through. He is on that stage six, rocking/army crawl right now. He has discovered standing while holding onto something and loves it. So amazing to watch your little one progress.
