Fun fact, Juggernaut was stuck inside the cement for over a month.
Personally one of my favourite victories that Spider-Man has achieved. Even Tiffany thought that Spidey should have cut his losses, but he didn't and though sheer determination, Spidey manage to defeat Juggernaut.

I like how after this story it's revealed Juggernaut spent like a week walking through the cement in order to return to normal land and then brushed it off. Spider-Man is so apologetic over it ans Juggernaut is like, "Eh life happens."

It’s actually surprising that Madame Web never really became a more mainstay character in comics after TAS in the 90’s.
She had a very prominent role in Spider-Man: Shattered Dimensions, which was the first ever Spider-Verse story, but apart from that things have been pretty uneventful.
@@HOTD108_I'd argue the Spider-Wars from the 90s cartoon was the real start to that.
Spider already has a magic guy, Doctor Strange.
Spider-man was hit by a wall, but not his greatest enemy...the Wall, a Wall which he will never crawl.
Juggernaut also thumps him pretty hard, but not as bad as his other greatest enemy...The Thumper.
Now I want a Spider-Man vs Mudman episode of Back Issues.

The most well-known story with the original Madame Webb...and she's little more than the inciting incident to getting Spider-Man to stop the Juggernaut. Nothing Can Stop the Juggernaut is a great story, but it casts her more as a victim than anything else. At least, in the 90's Spider-Man cartoon, she was given a major power update, and she helped guide Spidey to become a better hero.
I'm not really excited for the Madame Webb film, but if I hear good to great things, I'll check it out.
Always love hearing you cover stories by Roger Stern, an extremely underrated writer. Loved his story in Avengers # 1 1/2 that had art by Bruce Timm (yes, THAT Bruce Timm).

This is one of the greatest battles in comic book history. Spider-Man being completely outmatched by the Juggernaut makes his victory in the end all the more satisfying.
As you guys explain their fight I realized the shattered dimensions level was definitely inspired by this comic, I appreciate that greatly

I think my favorite thing about one of the tie ins is the Daredevil comic where he gets his sight back and then asks for it to be taken away. And the THREE issues later begins the iconic Born Again storyline. Idk why but there’s just something so funny to me about him being involved with The Beyonder and then like a week or two later he has the Born Again story 😭😭😭

My first ever exposure to Madame Web was the 2010 video game Shattered Dimensions, aka the original Spider-Verse and she actually plays a major role in bringing the different dimension Spideys together.
