The only reason they strongly urge the pen and markers users to use only laser printer paper is because it was designed for use with the heat the laser printer uses to adhere the plastic toner powders to the paper. I used both all printer paper and regular copy paper. The only difference is that the copy paper shows the beginning of scorching, yellowing. I also do traditional sublimation and have used the all printer paper till my sublimation paper arrived with no problems.

This seems to be Cricut’s alternative to “sublimation”. If so, then this process should work on white polyester shirts, and other sublimation blanks (coasters, Totes). The pens, for me, defeat the purpose if unable to fill color and would prefer to use the transfer sheets for small embellishments such as the stars and also for solid images using the pattern sheets. You would still have to weed the excess material from the transfer sheets for graphics with detail or typography.

Carole, another video I watched cautioned to not touch inked area as fingerprints leave oils that may mar design. But that was with the sheets not the pens. Does it hold true for the pens? Also can parchment paper be used instead of butcher paper?

parchement does not work with the infusible inks as it contains wax

and I haven't had any issue touching the transfer sheets so far but I would not make a habit of carrying them around in my hands... light touches while you weed haven't effected it

They made it sound like you can only use their “blanks.” Will they be also selling fabric? Did not see that in the product blanks. What fabric did you use?

I used the swatch that comes with the infusible ink sheet but many more blanks are coming to the line up

Not only their blanks but you need poly in the surface you are working on

What is the fabric made of? Cotton or polyester?

Me and bestie these products do not work on 100% cotton, they are a blend.
