    I’m not convinced yet.
    1. Their stock has dropped a lot so this is their chance to boost investment.
    2. They need to compete with universal but it seems that universal can complete a park in a few years but Disney can’t get a ride built in less than 5.
    3. Their execution changes from concept a lot lately with flakey executive decisions to cut budgets.
I’m hopefully but they have a bad track record lately. At the same time they need to take great care because some of these project are large and park shaping decisions. They can’t have systemic issues, confusing or rushed stories, breaking animatronics, etc.

My 11 y/o son was watching this with me and when you asked what are you most looking forward to he said, "Epic Universe." LOL!
I'm actually excited for the little Carsland they're planning to build in Magic Kingdom. I think I would have liked Moana more, but Cars looks nice and it is a popular IP and a fun one for kids. It is exciting that they're building two new Marvel rides at DCA. I think that was a big surprise; people were only expecting one. One thing that Disney in CA really has over WDW is the number of attractions per park. Then today they announced 4 new attractions for DCA, and they're only replacing maybe one ride (Monster's Inc.) to build all those new rides. So they're really increasing their capacity, and 3 of the 4 rides look like they'll have pretty good capacity. That arm ride seems a little odd; I hope it isn't a technical nightmare that doesn't last. If they replace Star Tours with Monster's Land I will be very disappointed. Studios only has 9 rides. The idea that they would close Muppets and Star Tours (two good capacity attractions) with a rollercoaster (less capacity) is crazy. I really hope they build this in the animation courtyard or somewhere where they don't have to remove rides or high capacity shows.

It feels like this was the ideas behind the renaming of Walt Disney Studios in Paris, I can totally imagine them renaming California Adventure at some point too, since nothing announced today (the expanding avengers campus, Avatar and Coco) has anything to do with California really.
It’s also interesting that Indiana Jones and Encanto don’t really fit with Animal Kingdom and Monsters Inc getting a land at Hollywood studios (potentially replacing muppets) is also shifting away from the premise of those parks too.

This is enough stuff that I'll be impressed if even half of it actually happens. At this point, I don't think anyone could be blamed for being skeptical.
I remember when the rumor about the Monsters, Inc. coaster was that it would be a re-theme of Rock 'n' Roller Coaster. But that was always too high-thrill a ride for that to be a really good fit for a family property like Monsters, Inc. People are talking about replacing MuppetVision and Star Tours, but I'm wondering if the idea is really to gut Rock 'n' Roller Coaster and use the show building (in which case it'd be way up on Sunset Boulevard).
I heard that they mentioned the Radiator Springs Racers-like ride having a somewhat higher thrill level with some kind of drop, which immediately reminded me of Journey to the Center of the Earth at Tokyo DisneySea (it uses the Radiator Springs/Test Track system but has a not-very-steep, ~50-foot dark drop at the end). I wouldn't expect it to be on that scale, though--Journey uses the gigantic Mount Prometheus structure.

Im so glad there's going to be new additions to the parks, I've always disagreed with people saying Disney should build a 5th park. Because Disney needs to take care of the others they have, Hollywood studios just started to be really good, Epcot is getting on there feet, animal Kingdom is still a half day, couple hours park, and magic Kingdom is missing something. These new additions will help these parks so much. Yes universal is making a new park, but Disney expanding the ones they have are better because it tells us the fans and the fans that work for Disney, tells all of us that they want to take care of the parks they have. And a good rival re is good to make these makes better
