Eric Schmidt: The war in Ukraine is the first broadband war

Russian/soviet history, I think people do not really understand how far behind the Soviet economy/military was when it comes to electronics. Anything that relied on microprocessors was either much harder to come by, worse than what the US had, and in all honesty, usually both worse and less available. The soviets were great at heavy industry, but terrible when it came to electronics. The russians, having inherited mostly 80s soviet military equipment have tried to modernize it with more advanced electronics, with some success, but they don't have the same emphasis on optics, fire control systems, guided munitions, avionics, etc. that the US has, its simply not in Russian military culture, and combined with corruption. The funny thing is Wagner group could have done a coup in Russia with better Results then fighting in Ukraine…😅
Let europe give ukraine all their $$$ if they want. we can keep ours.
DEMOCRATS KNOW SO MUCH ABOUT PUTIN.
you think Russia got no technology the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard in my life
IF WE WERE STILL ENERGY INDEPENDENT WE COULD DEFEAT PUTIN.
Just to give you an idea of military development at the cost of civil goods production in USSR:
1957 - launched first satellite to space
1969 - started producing toilet paper
And that is not a joke..🤣
@@TRE45ON.is.Bat5hit.Crazy.U.S.G Yet From 2006 to 2020, NASA had paid Russia an average of $56 million a seat to take 71 astronauts to the space station.
@@mikebrigs1218 Putin could blow Ukraine to smithereens if he wants nothing to do with oil or gas
You have no clue as to what "brain drain" is......Look it up.

Putin is VERY careful about who gets mobilized. It is not the elite in Moscow and Saint Petersburg, it is in fact the ethnic minorities who are called up disproportionately. From Tavush Republic, Tatars, Dagastanis and many many others in Asian Russia. They are very careful to only lightly touch European Russians. The mobilization is very calculated. This must be talked about and the effect it has on the thousands of small villages where most of the young men who live there are taken at once only to return shortly in body bags. This is what is barely talked about and also plays a big part of why the general population is not more overtly against the war.
Yup, cannon fodder as always.
This happened because the guy in the WH is very weak.
YOU KNOW SO MUCH ABOUT YOUR COMRADES IN RUSSIA HUH??
Interesting.
Does Joe edit this clips? Because they seem to cut off Mika as much as he does...😅
I like he said "when Starlink works"🤣.

Your kangaroo court lied……to you.
"China produces 4 to 5 times more graduates in STEM than in the U.S." and we wonder why they've grown so rapidly technologically. Duh?? In the U.S. you have to be RICH to even get into college/university and if you're not rich but get in, you have to take out loans and/or work your butt off to pay tuition, books, room & board which leaves less time to study. Topics such as Physicis, Math, Engineering take lots of time to become an "expert".
China-phobia is so rampant these days, some states such as Texas, is trying to legislate laws to forbid Chinese to purchase homes there. Many top notch talented Chinese science graduate students in the US will be forced to return back to China as a result of it.
Eric Schmidt spelled out some brutal facts that China is doing well in science and technology, something that most Americans refused to admit.
Yes, listen to him as he is right on top of all this technology now and into the future.

No more competition as conflict

Biden was spot on with his CHIPS AND SCIENCE ACT that was passed........Thanks dem's and Biden.
Not so sure about that.
Schmidt said on "GPS" Sunday that Russia is using 60,000 artillery shells per day. The West makes about 5,000 per day. He also said Russia is very good jamming electronics.
It frustrates me to no end that rich people like Eric Scmidt ,who benefited from a ton of public subsidies, now want further subsides all while paying little to no taxes.
Don't be jealous of him. Learn from him instead.
7:12 it's insane but they also have operatives from China that pressure them and threaten them if they don't go back or at least somehow remain faithful to China while here
"poorly named" "you sicko"
Yeah that's accurate and unfortunate 😂
Marriage is between a man and a woman and states must respect that. Marriage is between man and a woman, what’s the game going on here.

That's just your opinion and not the law. People can love whomever they choose. Go live your life and let others live theirs.
@@suzanne9150 That was Biden’s opinion silly. It was Obama’s as well.
It's fascinating. I truly believe that race gets in our way. We as a nation have to come to terms with this. It's not enough to just be white anymore.

First broad band war was in 2016 when Russian and Chinese trolls convinced the poorly educated through memes that a reality Tv host who paints himself orange, who has zero understanding of the geo political world we live in should be President of the United States.
4 years later the man’s legacy is Jan 6th and America still has buyers remorse with Trump.
Be thankful that if Trump wins the Republican nomination it won’t matter who the Democratic Party chooses they will win
Be thankful indeed

Russia gained upper hand against US by shooting down of US drone. It is a clear and well calculated invite to America to enter the ongoing war. Equally calculated is American decision to not to retaliate.
By shooting down a drone that was made 20 years ago? Dude Iran has better gear then that drone was.
UsA insane or swad-ish?

@@korkalba8658 HTLER TAUGHT THEM WELL. OR WAS IS IT MAO????
Ukraine already lost most trained and motivated soldiers along with almost all hardware it had before the war plus hundreds of tanks and IFVs it got from Eastern Europe (to understand the scale of losses it had 1 990 tanks, 1 212 IFVs, 1 112 heavy artillery systems, 354 multiple rocket launchers). Its army is a shadow of its former self at the beginning of the war. Zelenskyy is catching and forced conscripting often at gunpoint mostly people with zero motivation to die for him, who never served in the army, often disabled . When such people are in the trenches, it means that the front can collapse at any moment. According to WaPo of all places Russians have 1:6 advantage in artillery (you can imagine their real advantage). 85% of Ukrainian soldiers are killed even without seeing an enemy. Biden administration is getting quite desperate. The only option left for Biden administration is to throw Polish army into a meat grinder . I just hope that Polish government isn't that crazy.
Wow ,there's no shortage of ignorance on this channel
They got crimea under barack, and now ukraine with joe. there's a pattern here.
GOOD CATCH!!
Russia hasn’t won yet. It’s a good thing Zelensky is wising up and doing less with America.
And Trump told Putin he could keep the Crimea. Trump never criticized Putin for that because he didn't want to offend his daddy. And he got Georgia when Bush was in office. So there's two republican presidents that told Putin he could keep Georgia and Crimea. Because republicans were tough on Putin by saying he could keep territories he invaded. Okay numbnuts.
Your beloved Putin is going to lose Russia to ol'Sleepy Joe.
