- Last summer I organised a photography tour around some of the most iconic locations in the Italian Dolomites. I had to take part in a few stages of their trip and I decided to bring along my beloved Fujifilm G617, a medium format film camera which shoots incredibly large negatives on 120 film rolls. Challenging lighting situations, rain, wind and everything in between made this experience even more valuable. I learned a lot, made lots of mistakes and had a great time with the guys. They were completely blown away by the specular landscape we visited and got away with some incredible images themselves.

정말 멋진 작품!
My dream camera. Some day! Greetings from Colombia
It is indeed quite a spectacular one. Thank you for your comment and keep following your dreams 💪🏻
Nice picture
Thanks mate!
Unforgettable memories ❤❤❤❤
You're absolutely right ✅️ I can't wait to visit your land and shoot some film there! Which is actually happening soon 👀
beautiful images! especially the scene at 8:12. awesome
Thanks a lot for your feedback Brian! I'm glad you like them, I will definitely print some of those BIG 😎
😍
It was such a great time! ❤️
i love the flare at 9:06 personally
Hey Aidan, thanks for your comment! I find it too strong, but I'm happy to see another opinion. I still think it's a cool flare given the shape of it, but I find it too big in the frame. Maybe your point of view will make me take another look at those frames 😊
@@michelefranciotta of course, i just bought my fuji 617, super inspired by your work and decided i wanted to try it out. thanks for making these videos, i love watching them. You can buy the hoods for these cameras, mine actually is coming with one thankfully, so there is hope if you hate the flare. but like i said, i love the flare, it adds alot of character and movement. like a paused cinematic scene from a movie. cheers
@aidan dean dude thank you for the amazing words, I'm so happy to hear that you got inspired watching these videos! And great grab on the G617! Was it hard to find? It's by far my favourite camera. For big and special projects only! What are you shooting with it?
@@michelefranciotta pretty difficult but i got it for a steal! im pumped to use it, i dont live in such a beautiful country as you sadly! i love the slowed down process of shooting film, especially the larger formats, and i love panoramics. i dont know exactly yet, but im stoked... i already have 4 people wanting to buy it off me if i dont like it lol
@@Chefboyar__dean you can definitely burn a few rolls wherever you are and then keep it for travelling 😉 maybe some cinestill 800T at night if you live in a city? The panoramic format makes everything super cinematic 🤩
Can you share what light meter app you use?
@@paulpiasecki for sure, it's called "light meter" on android play store
@@michelefranciotta Thank you. Nice Video!
