- On one unassuming morning, Ramp Agent Douglas Wong suffered cardiac arrest while stacking bags in the bin. Fellow Ramp Agent Will Pierce, who had taken an online CPR class only the weekend before, sprung into action, giving crucial chest compressions to Wong.

This really shows that Southwest employees are the best. Not only are they looking out for us travelers giving us quality flights at a low price, but they are taking care of each other.

No one wakes up and states, " Today, I will be a Hero". It takes a special person to recognize an emergency, then take action to make a difference. People like this buy time for EMS, who then buy time for the ER team to all work to saving a life. I have been a Paramedic since 78 and can attest that people like these two guys, DO MAKE A DIFFERENCE out there. Well done.
