So basically two podcasts about random tech stuff that have no value, other than tech related entertainment masquerading as something useful, there is no valuable information to gather from hearing people talk about tech layoffs, escaping tutorial hell(do projects), etc. Informative podcasts should be informative, as in useful, this is an extremely common issue with podcasts, very few of the serious type of podcasts have value and I have came accross this issue when looking for podcasts about web development, I discarded a lot of them without even listening to one episode due to reading reviews, and a lot of what I listened after that first filtering process were worthless and I stopped after just a few episodes, a worthwhile podcast should either be:
-Very theoretical to give principles and leave the implementation to us
-Very specific with useful use cases, tools, implementations, etc.
When people dedicate time to things that are serious, like I do with serious podcasts, we don't want our time wasted with podcasts that are so meaningless that if I were to take notes on useful stuff I would write down almost nothing, because we are allocating time to serious things so our expectation is getting something useful.
