- I got so many messages on social networks about their budgie condition, I want to repeat I am not an avian veterinarian. If you are concerned about your budgie's health, you should seek veterinarian help. I know some of them do not have an avian veterinarian in their city, in my city we just got an avian veterinarian and he is great.
About my sunshine, he said all budgies mass-produced have bacteria, only during molting when they are weak or when they got immune system weak this bacteria to take over and eventually kills budgies. So, take your budgies on time to the vet.
These antibiotics I got are great but you need to know the correct measurement for budgies, an overdose of antibiotics can kill budgies too. So, for the best ask your vet first.
How can we prevent this from happening? Every time when they change feathers you should give them vitamins, you can get them from the vet, pet store, or online. They need calcium, cuttlebone, and mineral block are the must-haves. Giving a seed-only diet to budgies does not provide vitamins and minerals.
Giving millet is a treat for budgies that's why they can whole millet bar in minutes, budgies need vegetables and fruits.

I’m so sorry Alen. I lost my precious budgie back in December and I still cry for him. They are such sweet innocent souls. I was like you and did all I could to help him, but it wasn’t enough. I hope you find comfort in the fact that you did all you could and gave her love and a great life. She is happy and at peace now. Fly high little Sunshine!! You were loved! I know Ive lost all kinds of pets but for some reason mourning the death of a budgie is different feels like it cuts deeper in other ways 😢

Sadly the same exact thing happened to my sun conure. Except he was'nt showing any symptoms and when I got home from basketball practice on June 2, 2022 he lied down on the bottom of his cage and when I called his name there was no motion and I got closer and there he was, dead on the bottom of the cage. We had cried so hard and sometimes when I think about him it starts to get emotional. May Cookie, Biscuit, Summer and Rocky (my late bird) fly high!
The hardest thing to see your birds sick is to be prevented to avoid diseases.

Can someone help please! My budgie has been making wheezing noises. I will probably take both of the budgies to the vets just in case. This video does help me understand my budgies a bit more but I don't know what's wrong with Minty. It's very heart breaking to see a pet go, Alen just remember that your budgies are watching over you and thanking you for such a awesome life. They are most likely great full to have you as a owner. I'm still a learner as I only just got my first two budgies last year. Your videos mean a lot to me and have saved me from mistakes I probably would have made but have not. Thank you.
Very sorry to hear you lost Sunshine. They are so fragile and their lives are short, and yet they bring so much joy into our lives. When they pass it's kind of like losing a family member. Fly high little one!

Awww... Im soooo sorry avout your loss. I know how loosing your little fluffy friend feels... i lost my little floofball wich i was hand raising from a little tiny baby. He would always follow me around like a duckling (he didnt know how to fly yet) and every time i moved a few steps back, he would start screaming and running to me. He wanted to cuddle 24/7. But paralysis took his life one day... Fly high Sunshine! We will miss you! You will always stay in our hearts.

I'm so sorry brother, even I lost my female 1 year old budgie few weeks back. The shop owners here keep the budgies in pathetic conditions, 8-9 budgies in just a small cage, I wanted to buy all of them and give a bright life but he was asking way too much money, my parents let me buy only 2...that bird was sick from the beginning, I consulted numerous vets but nothing helped, at last I gave her meds on my own knowledge in intervals for a whole year, but I couldn't stop what was coming🙃. I'm happy I gave her few days of happy and freedom full life.
There is no course for avian veterinary in india. This makes it even more hard to treat sick birds

I am from Bangladesh,here prices of birds are quite low in comparison to your current country.and we have all types of bird medicine available (pharmacies don't require prescription),bird keepers use medicine as per their wish as we don't have any avian vet available.anyway I am a doctor and a bird keeper and I love all of your videos.few things I can tell you, provide your bird good soft food mix.grow basil leaves in your backyard.my budgies are crazy for basil leaves.and this is great for budgies health specially for lung diseases.I don't how sunshine caught so much cold.best wishes for the flock.
