Do you have tamed Budgie?
Our budgie was attacked by a rat. He was inside his cage sleeping and the rat tried to get him. It was a good thing I heard him crying. his tail and right wings were badly injured. But thank God his doing better now. His able to fly again too. Not yet high but a big improvement. 🥰
I love how you give the budgies a chance that aren't in the best of health
A couple of months ago I bought a very young bird from the pet store. I figured out she was probably 3 months old when I got her. She's the shy personality and bringing her home, and her new cage, she was extremely traumatized and sat like a statue for 2 days. Not eating or drinking water, and could not entice her even by moving food and water near the corner where she was sitting. The 2nd night, I put a small pyramid under her cage, and the next morning she did start drinking and eating. Only small amounts at first, but she was moving around her cage. It took a couple of weeks before she stopped panicking when I reached into the cage to wipe off her perches or change her food. I love her and she's so cute. I've had her two months now, and am just in the last few days gotten her to eat from a spring of Millett held in my hand, and last night for the first time she jumped on my arm a few times. I have even gotten her to sit on my finger....but not for long. But I do attribute the vibrations from the small pyramid as being a big help in easing her trauma.
The transition between them eating from his hand and getting out of the cage happened so fast. I also have two budgies that I've been trying to tame for months now and they don't have a problem with eating from my hand or standing on my finger but that's all. They fly away when I try to get them out of the cage, they don't allow me to touch them and they only jump on finger when there is food involved...
I love the sneaky finger approach I've tried that too. The aqua bird with a yellow head is truly beautiful, and friendly. What name did he get finally.
I have an injured parrot, when I first(my dad owns a pet shop so he bought birds from a bird breeder and got these birds) saw him I thought he was an aggressive bird by the way he looks,so I dint care about him much, then when I went to put some tomato/banana and other fruits inside the cage the bird will start opening its mouth and when I hand feed he takes a bite and goes away, that made my heart wanting to tame him and make my friend,I asked my dad so many times but the answer I got was no,then after a few days I asked again and he said ok,I was so EXITED,then I noticed that his wings are a little broken and his leg has an injury, but now after like a month of taming he now is my friend, his leg is ok he can kinda fly and now he eats from my hand, likes to sit in my shoulder and walk with him outside with him just sitting in his shoulder, his name is Nutter and he is my best friend now
Slow, calm and patient. Good budgie daddy.

You are great at taming budgies. It took me a month to tame my budgies. They are so cute.I had 4 budgies 2 flew away and 2 died(2 budgies were tamed)I miss them so much. Now I have a cockatiel
Wow, so awesome! You’re so caring and patient. Very happy flock you have! I actually learned a lot from this video. I think I’m not being slow and patient enough with my bird.

I love that you gave them a chance to be loved just like anyone deserve❤️ But im a bit concerned about their droppings, since the urates look kinda greenish/yellow and. Bright green or yellow feces can signify that the bird is not eating (anorexia, or stress since they got to a new home), liver disease, or chlamydia (a kind of bacteria) infection. The urates are normally white, cream colored or slightly yellow. I would keep an eye on that since i lost 2 of my rescueds for the same reason..(they had problems with their liver) I also recommend giving them milk thistle and milk thistle seed since it can do miracles for your bird❤️
