      Thanks, made that many years ago. it was intended for carving on my lap but, I covered it in vinyl so it's too hot. so I just use it at a table when working inside.

    GREAT creative project.
    Have you tried putting a torch to them to see how they would come out?? Would the tin patina??

      @BigDaddyOworkshop  Před 9 lety +1

      I have not tried that. Though, as they are tin can's they are all coated so it might not look very nice. I'll try it on my next one

    Love these! How do you make it so the edges aren’t sharp, or do you just have to be super careful when handling them?

      @BigDaddyOworkshop  Před 3 lety +1

      a good pair of aviation snips prevent sharp edges. Cheap or Dull ones will tear metal making a sharp edge.

    What kind of scissors are you using

      Those are tin snips - can be bought in a DIY supplies store, or motorists' tool shop. There's a big difference in quality though, so be careful about buying just on price; a good pair will last your lifetime.

    Thank you. I think I am gonna give this method a shot. The other one I saw used soda cans, which, in my eyes, isn't really Tin? A Tin Can is a Soup Can, correct? I need to make 10... ughhhh!

    • @BigDaddyOworkshop
      @BigDaddyOworkshop  Před 2 lety +1

      That's going to take a long time to make 10 of these. Good luck

      @@BigDaddyOworkshop I know man, and Im not crafty like that. Only with music and computers! I'll try though. Everytime I do decide to do something new, what makes it so hard for me at first is materials and tools. So with that being said, I need to make sure I have everything. Otherwise its gonna take even more time to buy whats needed!
