  • I used to make this recycled flowers a lot to reduce the waste of soda cans. I was a little nervous to cut the sharp object like this. But actually it's very easy to cut and it is so much fun to make!! It's not a project for younger age. But it can be for older kids with parent or teenagers. But these are sharp objects. So please be careful to handle and take care of them. If you keep that in mind, it will be a fun project!! Aluminum soda can never gets rusty. Those are the best for some outside decoration.

How long will this last outside in Florida?

I'm not really sure in Florida, but it's been 2 years to put them outside. The color is getting a bit faded, but it doesn't get rusted so far😊

Aluminum doesn't rust. Rust only occurs in iron and other metals that contain iron. Steel, for example, is susceptible to rust because it contains iron. It takes a long time for it to corrode also. But one of your storms would probably sweep it off your lawn and put it 4 blocks over.
