An MBA doesnt necessarily get you a higher salary or a better job. But does give you a second chance to "diversify"

When the hosts couldn't get the answers they wanted out of the Dean they knew they needed to cut the interview.

Lets just get this straight, the MAIN focus of getting an education such as an MBA should be to BETTER your understanding of a certain subject, not just to say I'm better than you because I have an MBA, employers are looking for people who can do a job well by having the necessary knowledge of a subject, and having an MBA translates to just that.
Not to gain respect and an image.

If the value of an MBA is so uncertain that people have debate its virtues, it's probably not that valuable. I'm living proof.

David Kiperman you hit the nail good sir. I've been considering this degree quite seriously but my gut tells me I don't need it. I am a Canadian Chartered Accountant, got a good job in an area I truly enjoy, and an industry I've always wanted to be in. Do you recommend going into debt to get skills I am learning on the job anyway by dealing directly with C-level executives and Directors?

    1. Women are subject to lower standards in entering Wharton for full-time MBA. Almost all my friends who went there are women. 2. This topic can easily be discussed for 30 minutes. The TV platform has such a short attention span.

What does the data say about me? I had a 4.3 in HS and I tried to start a hedge fund...... my office materials and business plans were confiscated/stolen. What now? Political Risk?

@@user-lu6yg3vk9z If you go to an M7 school, something like 98% achieve job offers before they leave. The rest of top 15 is about 90%. Anywhere outside top 15 is probably pointless, but going to a top M7 school assures you will be a high earner.
