I love how you explain the items and show how they work like with the tube wringer. And then there's how you take your audience into account when displaying the pencil case and showing us how Prismacolors would fit in there since most people own Prismacolor pencils. You're so thoughtful!
thank you for ur kind words joyce! i appreciate it! yeah, i feel like i might not be the best most entertaining art content creator but i kinda feel like i'm "your neighbourly art friend" sharing things maybe others haven't mentioned and what not. feel free to ask me anything if you need to know more about something. that's part of the reason why i started youtube :)
I really love how just... pure and heartfelt your videos are, I liek seeing other people who get as excited about their art hoards.
awww thank you so much seraph :D i probably scream off camera too haha
Ohhhhhh that huge Jackson’s sketchbook is so cool. I loved hearing how happy you were for this haul-totally relate!🎉🎉🎉your “yayyy!” after the RS buff titanium was the cutest ❤
i love that A4 is huge to both of us ;P hahhaha we need all the yays in this world for hauls ~
Such nice supplies! I hope you enjoy them all. I love colour pencils, Derwent Drawing and inktense are my fav. I don't do full pencil pieces though, coming from watercolour it seems like such a slow process and I'm impatient XD I like to do the flat colours with watercolour/gouache/marker first and then some pencil work on top. Gouache seems like a whole new world to me, and there is acrylic gouache too, which is also different. So many supplies, so little time XD
thank you! same here~ i think doing colouring with only pencil is way too tedious for me but i like them for quick sketches.
@@PaintinHiding agreed ^_^ I also use color pencil for lineart, when I want a softer result than using ink
I love Aqua Green!
me too! i've been painting with it and love it! ;D
I love using that granulation medium! My best results have always come from mixing it into the watercolor paint before painting. I add a generous dollop, about the size of a quarter, to my palette's mixing area, then add my watercolor and water. All three of those ingredients premixed on the palette is key for me. And bonus, it'll granulate/flocculate like crazy right in the palette so you can see the results even before you start painting. I mention all this because I've seen artists apply it sparingly with a dropper to paint already on the page and while it works sometimes, it seems very hit or miss. But the method I've described works amazingly well. Happy experimenting! I hope you have wonderful results and come to enjoy the granulation medium as much as I do.
i'm not entirely sure i like it yet. i think it need to play around with it some more on different types of application but thank you stacey!
Bristol and vellum are popular with architects, calligraphers, and illustrators.
Designer's gouache is less archival. It's meant for illustrators whose work is meant to be scanned or photographed only. Almost all the colors are not lightfast.
AH! thank you so much hippo!!
Your username is super clever. Mine is from cringey teenage days but I just haven't been able to come up with anything that isn't equally.. not great. It does give me an appreciation for people who come up with really great ones, though.
@@seraphoftherose 😎💛
I got that tube wringer from Cheap Joes Art Stuff in the USA.
Your tube ringer can crinkle paper, too! It can be used to hold pens, pencils, and brushes so they don’t roll off or together. The paper is cute in journals and Collage.
crinkling paper sounds fun! thanks for the rec fran ;D
I loved seeing your haul and can feel your excitement. 🎉
hehe, thank you jade~
Its a nice haul all products that you need! Thanks for always keeping us informed..I am going to try the dip bamboo pen/brush! So grateful when you show it to us..I immediately order it! Unique tool to have!
ohh hope u like it!
I also bought the Jackson's pencil extender. When I saw it was unfinished I put some wood stain and a clear sealant on it. It reminds me of balsa wood.
hi jade :D ohhh staiining it would be nice!
Hi, I think you can use a blender pencil instead of the White pencil you bought, especially a blender for wax pencils.
hi rebecca :) i've tried prismacolor's blender pencil and it doesn't work... :(
Wow when I put W&N in my cart tgey said didn't send outside UK
yeah, i think they've been cracking down these past couple months. i can't buy W&N anymore either
I was collecting some pencils just to try, then I got 24 tin of Derwent Drawing, then some more, then I went to Mexico and just had to buy 150 set as they are 2 times cheaper than in Europe - that’s how I know pencil cases for 200-300 and even 400 exist 😂
omg those things exist?!!!
@@PaintinHiding haha, can you imagine? They look like a whole pencil library with a handle
My regrets this past month is the Jackson’s Tajmyr Kolinsky 12 which was on sale. It just doesn’t come to a fine point and I had to return it. My other is the Leonardt Deluxe fountain pen set.
oh nooo! that's jacksons t kolinsky brush was one i've thought about buying... awwww thanks for letting us know!
ooh i hope you do a video with the granulation medium !
oh i've filmed it already ;P
@@PaintinHiding good : )
Are you able to get the mission titanium class gouache? I just tried it and it is beautiful.
thanks for ur input rebecca but im in thailand and unfortunately not available. 😅
Can we see swatches?😊
3:51 😊
I have nothing to say, but I can’t just not comment so: third! 😂
😂 would this be ur first third medal? 🥉
@@PaintinHiding Oooooh! Slipped down this time 😂
