Geoff wanted a hopeful ending that did not exist in the song. Hence the outro with Jack seeing the snow start to fall.
Great reaction, I look forward to many more from Voiceplay and Geoff!

Great reaction!! You should check out VoicePlay's cover of Hellfire from The Hunchback of Notre Dame. Geoff makes such an awesome villain...lol

I enjoyed your reaction- thanks! I love Voice Play's "Little Mermaid Medley" as it features Rachel Potter, a long time friend of theirs that performed as Ariel in the little mermaid show at Disney World for 5 years and Geoff plays the evil Ursula better than anybody! You would also like Voice Plays "Hoist The Colours" from 'Pirates Of The Caribbean'. Voice Play did recently release a cover of "Lion Sleeps Tonight", an old song that was included in "The Lion King".

Cheryl , You had me so excited watching your excitement over Geoff. Thank you for a priceless reaction to Geoff. You know he is the bass in Voice Play so would you please do a reaction video to Voice Plays cover of Hell Fire from The Hunchback of Notre Dame ? Geoff is the evil Minister Frolo & his voice will excite you with his range in this one.

Geoff is the bass singer in an a capella group Voice Play. They do a lot of Disney medleys; like the Little Mermaid and Moana. They also do "Don't Talk About Bruno" and The Oogie Boogie Song (from the Nightmare before Christmas. You'll have to check out all of their Disney songs.

Since you so love Disney - I will suggest Geoff's other Disney songs on his channel. He's a big fan of Thurl Ravenscroft and so has a great version of "The Headless Horseman" if you don't mind keeping with the Halloween stuff. He also has done "The Bare Necessities" which I'm pretty sure was his first solo video. He is the bass singer for an a cappella group named VoicePlay, who I'm certain you will love. They are located in Orlando and I believe every member has at one time or another worked singing at Disney or Universal.
Anyway, VoicePlay has quite a few Disney covers, including more from "Nightmare Before Christmas". And as a lover of 'Haunted Mansion' I especially will recommend "Hide and Seek" located in a Haunted Mansion set (Ooops! I see you've already done that one)! However, they have also done wonderful covers from 'Encanto', 'Little Mermaid', 'Moana' and 'The Grinch'. As well as a very powerful "Hoist the Colours" from 'Pirates of the Caribbean'. And this lastHalloween, they did a gorgeous "Hellfire" from 'Hunchback of Notre Dame'. They even have some top 10s of Disney (Heroes, Villains and Sidekicks) those are older videos, not as theatrical, sung & recorded live. And a few 'minis.
Lastly, also related and possibly even just as exciting - Layne (who is the beatboxer in VoicePlay) has a channel for his production studio (PattyCake Productions) that he co-owns with past VoicePlay member, Tony. They write original music and direct new videos on Disney 'themes'. You are going to probably want to check out their "Villains' Lair" populated by all kinds of Disney Villains! But they have other Disneyesque productions, too. I especially love "Born Bad" their '80s style Cruella de Ville song!
Now, all of them do much more than Disney - but these fit your channel. Apologies if you have already done any of them. This is the first I have seen your channel and I have not yet checked out your playlists.

Thanks so much for all the info. I've heard some of it but it's nice to be reminded of it from time to time. I can't wait to check some of it out that I haven't heard yet.

Not sure if you are aware, but Geoff sings all the harmonies in his solo songs (often with his clones in the video).
His acapella group, VoicePlay, released Hellfire, from The Hunchback of Notre Dame, around the same time this song was released. Geoff sings the villain part. His range in Hellfire is insane.

Lament is pronounced "La-MENT" with the emphasis on the last part, just like in "prevent".
a lot of reactors have struggled with that word, I guess it's not as commonly used in everyday language 🙂🙂

I think Geoff only used subharmonics once or twice in this video; most of the really deep notes he sang were chest voice - which, as The Charismatic Voice has labeled them, is "stupid low"!

      Twice.
At the end of "a longing that I've never known", and the last note of the song.
