I love mine.
It said thanks
Same here brother going from a g923 to this thing feels so freakin good
Plus it's great for people who can't use their legs for whatever reason since you can map the clutch pedals for gas and break
just got mine yesterday, feels really nice
When did you order it, 2 years ago
@@joarnold9495 nah, it took less than a week
Got mine a month ago. It's a beautiful wheel, and for being one of fanatecs cheap options, it's well built and has quite a lot.
Had mine 6 months now, I love it
It really is a great wheel.
Love mine as well. Best value for money in my opinion.
The plastic clamp is poor....it has snapped pins 3 times on my wheel....you musy upgrade to the ali quick release clamp
3 times... what are you a Gorilla ? I've had mine for two years and I use it regularly and have not had one problem, I just never over tighten it.
@@luciusesox1luckysox570 i mean the pins inside the wheel....nothing to do with over tightening...the plastic locking ring doesnt allow for overtightening, the problem is that there is too much vibration through the plastic housing of the locking ring..its a known issue with the wheel, to the point where you can buy after market pin assemblies to replace original
Love the bourbon biscuit all the best that wheel looks great bro
i wanna save up some money to buy one of these
Feels fine to me. Even when i compsre it to the neo. When i have it on my rig with the qr2 it does not feel plasticky its also reinforced with cf. Tbh they need to go back to this design language with a newer age feel.
The new gt7 wheels feel plasticky.
They were on the right track! I'd go mad for a range of similarly priced replicas for Porsche / BMW / Audi etc
Been wanting to upgrade to fanatec but all i see is customers complaining about not receiving their products after months of waiting. So im going to go with Simagic
And that's the price Fanatec has to pay for upsetting quite a lot of people, a hard lesson for them
I refuse to buy from Chinese owned companies (not to confuse with made in China) like Simagic and Moza, better invest in western wowned companies.
They just need to scale one of their dozens of 27" formula wheels for a proper 30", which is IMO the sweetspot or at least offer this BMW M4 wheel for a competitive price. Maybe the next CEO fixes that...
very little chance that they'll offer the M4 wheel for a "competitive" price since it's the exact same wheel used in the real cars
@@sam.tm.276 Withdrawing this moronic decision doesn't seem impossible. Licensed wheels from Ascher and Cube Controls show how much such wheels should cost.
@@Leynad778since it's used in the real thing they're gonna most likely cite the reason as safety and fia approval for the high price point, while ascher and cube don't have to go through such hoops since they make replicas at most (e.g. cube controls amg gt2 replica)
that may change if cube/ascher/etc. start making proper real life wheels and follow in the footsteps of fanatec in terms of pricing, but they i'm also hoping if they do they make a higher quality product and/or compete by having lower prices
@@sam.tm.276 As I said, it's a stupid idea to make a wheel for both sim- and real-racing in the first place and certainly they could sell this wheel for 699 just for sim-racing. For the few dozens or maybe hundreds of real cars they just could use what others are using and charge the usual 4k+. Why should sim-racers co-finance this ridiculous millionaires hobby? The BMW, the Bentley wheel and that many motorsport sponsoring just proves, that Thomas Jackermeier was not doing his job any more.
Is it the best wheel out there? No. But as a student with not a lot money this is the best wheel you can get. I don't even care about the McLaren license, but it's great for what you pay. I love mine
There’s a reason it is the most popular rim.. and there’s a reason people with rich parents are disliked
Help us out
Team corvette could have funded itself by selling a Corvette Replica sim wheel….
People will always find something to complain about no matter what
Is that a complaint about complaining?

If it doesn't come with bourbon biscuits, then im not interested 😤.
They should’ve expanded on affordable bs putting out so many in such a little time. I think this is partly why they are in the debt they’re in now.
Maybe thats why they went bust lol
I have other “better” wheels and I still throw mine on every once in a while. Great bargain.
Joo you might consider investing the mclaren in the next gen of simracer 😅?
People really waste money on these thing. At those prices I'd rather do actual circuit racing in a real car.
Racing an actual car is infinitely more expensive. If your engine blows up in a racing game, no big deal. If your engine blows up in real life, you need to drop thousands on a new engine. Not to mention all the other expensive parts that might go wrong.
Sim racing is many magnitudes cheaper than real racing, unfortunately - otherwise you bet we'd all rather be doing it
I think virtually every sim racer would rather do actual circuit racing in a real car. But it’s significantly more expensive than even high end rigs.
I actually like sim racing. Sometimes it would be cool to be on an actual track, but I really love how I can instantly connect/disconnect. No hassle.
@@auroratherob0t It probably depends on country. One of my cars is a 2002 toyota. In my country a new engine bought and installed is cheaper than any of these direct drive hubs.
Have fun dealing with no customer service communication and year waiting period
Had mine since December, worth it.
It's called greed
Prefer the bourbon
Cheap and plasticy? As a g920 owner I feel insulted 😂
