It's totally mesmerizing watching you do this....it's my absolute favorite part of making dolls, I don't seem to be able to get enough of it. I've learned so so so very much from you, thank you for all your tutorials, ...and your shopping trips are , well, a trip! Lol!

Me to cant grab one hair, wish i could use this method, look how fast and how neat it is! All i know is if the needle isn't held correctly you wont root one single hair. Tell me about it lol !

Wow look how quick you root that hair, you make it look so easy, i find it very hard to root one hair even from the middle with a fork needle, to do this from the end like you do is amazing, no doubt this is the best method if one can master it of course.

Wow Jackie the speed at what your rooting is amazing yet you are only grabbing one hair at a time through a bunch of hair. I noticed to you are aiming the needle straight and not slanted yet the hair isn't sticking straight up like it would if you did this on a vinyl doll.

Jackie I think any kind of tutorial you do is mesmerising to watch so whatever you have in mind just go ahead and do it but I would love to know how to root a little sparse around the face and temples and have the rest of the hair thicker as I always do thick hair all over the head

@Jackie Ortiz you do excellent work with your hair rooting. The reborns hair looked just like my sons hair did when he was born. Did you also make the reborn baby? If not, what is it called and where did you get him from. He is so Nice and Realistic!!!

I would like to say I would like to see the needle and hair holding video if you wish to make one. I would certainly be watching. I played around with a needle and with a needle & holder and only a coulpe ways to hold the hair.
also, I am interested in removing the needle and hair ... the routine you use. i felt I had to change the way I was removing the needle and hair. that is. the order in which i remove them.

Hey @heart2heartbabies - random question but how strong is the hair once rooted? can you brush/gentle pull on the hair without it coming out immediately? Thanks in advance!!
As long as it is sealed, a simple brush should be fine. If it's not sealed from the inside, the hair will come out no matter how gently you brush it. I hope that helps you ❤️❤️❤️
@heart2heartbabies how do you seal it from the I side? I just ordered a full silicone doll. It's not one where the limbs and head are detachable..
