- Last year I went on a road trip through Ireland. Driving from Scotland we docked in to Belfast and made our way down South sampling some of the best riding the country had to offer as well as exploring the cities of Belfast and Dublin. This is my guide to a 5 day trip to get a taste of Ireland...
The locations we visited:
00:58 Cave Hill
02:20 Glencullen Adventure Park
05:01 Ballinastoe
08:30 Three Rock
10:11 Rostrevor
If you've any questions about my road trip then leave them in the comments section down below and I'll do my best to answer them!

Thanks for showcasing our ever expanding trail network! . And the Guinness is great here too!
Thank you mate, glad to hear you enjoyed it! The Guinness tastes better over there that’s for sure!! 😋 Look forward to getting back and exploring some more some day, heard even mores been built…
You missed Roman Dunnes trails in Djouce. Mid Way between Ticknock and Ballinastoe. Some of the best natural trails around. And there there is Hush - OMG !!!!
I’ve heard good things about both! I’ll be back to discover them again…
Definitely another trip on the to-do list. Scotty you are giving us too much to get ticked off.😂
You’d love it man! Trails are so good!!
Great video next time you are back head up north coast to ballycastle
Ireland rules bro.❤
Man what a place, pleasantly surprised by the trails on offer there… so much that we didn’t explore as well! Have to go back.
@ScottyLaughland really good people, my great grandad was Irish, moved to Scotland. Went on a road trip late 90s with my friends, great food, great people 👍
Thank you Scotty! Whopper video. What was the tayto chocolate like!? 😂
I’ll be back to ride your trails, they were class but I’ll miss out the Tayto chocolate next time I think! 😂
Going to visit Ireland at the end of the month and was wondering what and where to ride. This is video is awesome! Thanks!!
Love to hear it! Have a great tip!!
Surprised you didn’t try Pittlockery whilst in Belfast. Awesome video as ever
Liked and subscribed. Cracking video. Keep her lit
Amazing video! I love Ireland! I live in Canada, but my mother is from Dublin and I've many relatives there. Love visiting Ireland. Would love to go mountain biking there too. But hopefully on sunnier days. We don't usually ride in the rain as it causes damage to the trails here in Alberta, Canada.
If we didn’t ride in the rain, we’d only have 2 days biking ;)
Be safe always scott🙂
Thank you mate! 🙌
When you come back put Tollymore, Ravensdale and Donard on your list!
Noted! Sure seems there’s plenty still to explore!!
one word .... JEALOUS
Man what a set of trails they have! 🔥
Next time maybe you'll get to the south and west of the country, lots more great trails there
I heard that from our time there! Sounds like we’ll have to come back…
What's in the west, Coolaney, Slieve Bloom, where else would you recommend, planning a trip around the west this year!
Slieve Bloom's in the Midlands of Laois and Offaly, two new jump trails and two new blacks only opened last week, definitely worth a look when traveling to or from the west trails.
Awesome content again.. looks like typical british weather all around. Just like we have lots of here in belgium. So I gotta ask what tyre-combo are you using?
Thank you, appreciate hearing that! We had a good mix of weather here and only one really bad day… I’m running a Magic Mary up front here and a Big Betty on the rear. Switching it out more recently and running the Tacky Chan on the rear and really liking that. Generally Super Gravity out back and a Super Trail up front both in Soft compounds!! Hope that helps.
@@ScottyLaughland it kinda does but for someone that has to pedal a lot, would a Wicked Will in the back help to keep rolling resistance down but don't lose too much grip? I know you tested the WW's. That's why I ask.
*irish* weather all round ;) great video dude

Scotty. Yo. well ,
Yo! 🙌
Ya should of went to bawre 😢
Haven’t heard of it! Next time, I’ll add it to the list…
next time just stay up north, far better riding up there however ticknock have stepped up their game
I loved the Gap and Ballinastoe, thought the trails there were first class! Some very fresh flow trails that worked brilliantly…
The music is terrible
