how do you zoom in on the video timeline so you can make more precise splits?
(change the scale to more finegrain so you can find the exact timestamp you want to split?)

This video showed me just what I wanted to know. I have been watching other videos for beginners, but they have all skipped over this information. Thanks for making this concise and informative video.

@@owtechSAsante sana! I had already watched several YT presentations on how to cut and split videos using VSDC Video Editor, and yours was by far the most helpful. Good luck with your channel, sir.
*PS:* Forgive my use of Swahili to express my thanks, but from your Kenyan-sounding English and your channel name (which I'm guessing is an abbreviation of e.g Owino-tech), I'm going out on a limb and presuming that you're my compatriot (although this has nothing to do with my genuinely having found your video to be the best one of, again, several YT videos I had watched on the subject).

I have lots of small videos after the one I’m cutting so I can’t drag every single one. How can I make them automatically move forward after deleting?

Am not sure that's a feature available for the version. Here's what you can do:
      1. Select the video portion you want to move forward,
      2. Open the editor which usually appears on the right.
      3. Record the video duration(write it somewhere)
      4. Increase the video duration to increase the size in the editor.
      5. Drag the video to where you want to position it
      6. Edit the video duration to the original time, the one you recorded before.
With this, you will have fixed your problem.
      I hope it helps.
