      Hello, we utilized Zoom, 2 Motion Blur, and Lens Distortion to create the transition. We'll do our best to produce a Short in the near future.

    I think i'm starting to get the hang of highlighting footage with the cutting and splitting tool and dragging to layer #1 but it's so god awfully far from the rest of the objects. How do I group the objects together? I saw the group objects icon but that didn't work for me.
    Also, the only video object saved in the project now reads "The object is not linked with the video file, (the source file has been deleted or moved.)

      Hopefully we can get to the bottom of this.. it's either a bug or I overlooked something and made a some kind of mistake..

    I'm trying to click and drag a segment from layer 2 to layer 1 but the segmentation markers are too close together. Also, once I'm able to drag segments, is there an easy way to add to the end point of layer 1? Trim start / trim end should be easy to help seperate the markers I hope once I get a mouse for my laptop.

      Hello, you can zoom in on the timeline and then move the object using the mouse - prnt.sc/C0cXBCq2fZTm. Alternatively, you can place the cursor in the desired position, select the object, and use the "Move blocks" option - prnt.sc/p-gMz64ntW47.

      @@VSDCFreeVideoEditor I was able to trim some of the start and some of the end.. how exactly do I click and drag ONLY the segment I created with the markers and "snap" that to the latest object in Layer 1?

    • @VSDCFreeVideoEditor
      @VSDCFreeVideoEditor  Před 4 měsíci

      Hello,
      When you mention "I created with the markers," do you mean that you have split the clip and markers appeared at the end and beginning of the segment? If so, you can simply click on that segment to select it. If it's too small, just zoom in on the timeline to increase its size and select the object.
      If we misunderstood you, please clarify.

      @@VSDCFreeVideoEditor Not that way.. I clicked create marker then chose segmentation marker one frame then did the same for another frame. Once a segment has been created.. I'd like to know the easiest way to click and drag ONLY that specific segment and snap that to the latest object in layer 1.

  • @MikeSerota

    I'm trying to break this down the best I can. Background information: I have four text objects in layer #1 already.
    When I click on "add video object", I end up importing the entire full length movie footage into the program as layer #2.
    I wish to highlight a specific segment from that footage.
    I then wish to trim the start of the footage and the end so I can zoom in, (If necessary), and drag ONLY that exact segment to layer #1 and snap to the latest text object.

      @VSDCFreeVideoEditor  Před 4 měsíci

      Hello, to do this, you first need to cut the file. Use the Split option, which looks like a razor icon, as demonstrated in this tutorial. Split the file into several parts, then select the desired part for movement.

    • @VSDCFreeVideoEditor

      No, you don't need that. Segmentation markers are only meant to indicate something on the timeline.
