I met Olivia at the hotel I work at bout 10 years ago in Sydney . She was just the loveliest person I've ever come across . She talks to you as if she is your friend so so genuine . I own her greatest hits cd the she so graciously signed for me . So very thankful for that . I was taking a bunch of flowers to another guest and the lift doors opened up and there was Olivia again . She said to me " Oh Shane are they for me" ( as it was Valentines day ) . Unfortunately they weren't but we both laughed . I did say " oh Sorry Olivia hopefully next time" . Before the lift doors closed she said to me " well Happy Valentines Day Shane" and I wished her the same . Just another reason she gives us as a reminder why we are all devoted to her . " You have to believe in magic " cause Olivia was just magical to all of us .
To Olivia's family how blessed you were to be a part of Olivia's life as she was blessed to have you all in her life . 🙏. The memories of this beautiful lady will live on forever . ❤️

Olivia has been my idol since I was 9. She was also my mentor as she gifted the love of music and performing to that little girl. I will be 53 on September 26. Yes, I share the same birthday as my queen. I am heartbroken today.

I got to know of her at a really early age. My mom and dad had albums of her in the house, that was pre-Grease. So I got to hear those early hits and got totally familiar with her music and her look and name, THEN came Grease, as an 11 yr old, I was totally infatuated with her, as every other boy was from my generation at that time. From that point on I followed her career for years and loved her music, she was one of the total professionals in the industry - Class act all the way
Rest in Peace Olivia - we all expected that this might get you in the end, but it does not change the fact of how painful it is to have lost you. May you rest high on that mountain now.....

I absolutely agree. I met Dolly at BMI in Nashville Tennessee in 1998. She was a lot like Olivia. Beautiful and genuine.

Love Olivia. She was beautiful and an amazing singer/ entertainer. You're in my heart Olivia. Now when I was listening to this video and this man says Grease was not a great movie, I shut it off after that. It was a great movie, which has definitely stood the test of time.
