Grease was my favourite movie....she was great in it with John Travolta
After one year,it is still hard to believe that she has passed on. She was quite brave all of those years that she had battled cancer.May Olivia’s life be an inspiration for all!!!…Karl Schumaker ❤❤❤❤❤

I’m still in so much disbelief that Olivia had passed on. I didn’t know about this until the next day when my sister had informed me about it.On Halloween, I had honored her life by (cross)dressing up as Olivia as the “bad” Sandy from the movie Grease. I also watched a lot of stuff on CZcams before and after her death. I even watched a couple of the very few movies in which she either starred or appeared in.For a Christmas present, I had gotten a deluxe edition of her very first album entitled,”If Not For You.”I even went out to purchase a copy of her memoir entitled,”Don’t Stop Believing.”As you can see,and like everyone else, I am a true fan of her work as both an entertainer and a beautiful person that she truly was…”Don’t Stop Believing!!!”…Karl Schumaker ❤️😍❤️😍❤️😍❤️
Ironically,Olivia had passed away on August 8th,2022 which is also the 42nd anniversary of the release of the film”Xanadu”(August 8th,1980).Unfortunately,that film wasn’t as successful as”Grease”was, but both events will mark historical moments in history for her…I Honestly Love You Liv!!!…Karl Schumaker ❤️🩷❤️🩷❤️
Her passing was if Olivia’s Xanadu character Terpsichore(aka Kyra) had left and said to everyone,”I’ll love you forever!”…Olivia,we will all love you forever!!!…Karl Schumaker❤️🩷❤️🩷❤️
It’s been over a year since I had honored Olivia’s memory by (cross)dressing up as her “Bad Sandy” character from the movie “Grease”for Halloween.May she forever remain in mine and everyone else’s hearts!!!…Karl Schumaker 🩷👩🏼🦱🎃🩷👩🏼🦱🎃

I can say because I know that Olivia was everything & so much more than you dare hope that she would be in person. She was unique, classy, funny & of course beautiful. Meeting her was a dream come true for a young guy in his 20's who only ever wanted to meet her. They say never meet your idols but for me that was not the case, however I chose my idol well. That night was in the mid 1990's & I still talk about it all the time.
She was Awesome.
