    Normally I wouldn't upload two videos on the same day, but this one actually took less time than I thought it would. I have three of these, this one was in the worst condition. One I left original, one I restored and so I figured a custom job was in order. This was a fun bit to do and I'm pretty happy with the outcome. I hope you are too!

    I don't often care for custom builds but I love this one! It maintains the visual look of an actual Land Rover but the lift kit and wheels make it truly interesting. Great custom! Im new to all this and Ive only done a few customs so far, but a tip to make life easy- when painting a two tone paint job I like to spray the whole thing the lighter color first then masking off what I want to stay, being a racing stripe or white roof, then spray the dark color. As long as you use light coats you won't lose any detail and might save a little time. Keep up the fine work sir!

    • @TimeRider
      @TimeRider  Před 5 lety

      I have to respectfully disagree, any time you lay a coat of paint on it, you're losing detail. But thank's for the tip. I appreciate the offering.

      @@TimeRider just throwing out the idea haha. I personally haven't had any problems but I don't use a primer coat and spray thin coats of createx wicked paints mostly, so I guess I end up with the same amount of paint as you do with the primer coat.
