Creeps not being able to handle fellow creeps being pointed out is very common. Pigs blood dude is like many of the patients i met working in healthcare. People with such a bad reaction other people having a voice in how they are treated are scary.
“And your fake name is obviously Scarlett Johansson” has become so canon on this show that I’m honestly starting to see it as a token of honor if you call in and Miles assigns you that fake name in your story.
The second caller didn’t almost get Carrie’d, she almost got Kanye’d which is probably worse in my opinion 😅

To Tina and Michelle... this unfortunately was the end to one of my friendships. I wasn't liking the person she was becoming, and he just AMPED her bad behavior. In my opinion a partner is suppose to make you a better person. Not as in what they want you to be but you wanting to be better for them voluntarily.
He was not it for her, and to make matters worse he cheated at least 3 times, the last time she took him back was a no from me. I no longer felt happy to see her.
Sounds like they unconsciously want validation/ attention.
Another stranger's advise: if the person makes you happy, ask them about their partner and try to figure out why they are the way they are and try to sympathize. Next hang with the partner more and say boldly I'm not arguing with you, that's your opinion and I have mine. That usually gets people to reflect on what they're saying and say to themselves I'm not being argumentative. Making them self conscious. Finally, ignoring. If you hang out as a group if you want to be mean isolating the partner and only continue conversations with your friend will really ef with them.
Never seen Emmy Hartman before but she's one of the most beautiful people I've ever seen.

Oh my god, that introduction! 😂 fantastic! re: the person who's friend has the really silver spoon boyfriend... it sucks, but you gotta distance yourself from them. Don't completely cut it off if you don't want to, but as someone with a (close to me) relative that has a lot of money, I found myself really nodding in knowing re: what you're dealing with. A lot of times they get really narcissistic because they have the money, and think themselves better than everyone else. There's no getting through to them because they simply get really self centered. Look after yourself and your closer friends, and one day, when the other friend realizes what she's turned into and might not (or actually might...) like it, you can pick up on the friendship again.
I actually turn into "that person" when I have money too, but i've learned to curb it and be self aware. Many can't do that.
Also to Miles and Emmy about the get real conversation... try to do personal projects just for yourself, and your joy in doing them, as opposed to doing it specifically for the views or getting less joy from it if it doesnt take off like a normal episode. You don't always even have to necessarily post it online. My living and my hobby is a very similar thing, and my fear when I started the business was exactly this. Losing the joy or turning everything that I do into views/likes/etc.
I was thankfully able to be aware of when I was falling into this trap and pulled back to keeping certain things just for myself. I only share them with people that I'm very close to/vulnerable with. It brings me closer to my friends, and some of my followers of my art, If that makes sense? If it doesn't get a lot of likes, that's OK, I love it and the people I love also love it.
Rhett and Link are doing something kinda similar to this, where they have the Algorium friendly stuff on their channels with the bigger following, and they're doing their passion projects on the smaller Rhett and Link channel. Those who want to see/enjoy their personal passion stuff can find the short-form movies etc there and , as far as I can tell, it's turned into something really cool and positive.

My best friend passed away during the beginning of the pandemic. I saw her in the emergency room the day before we shut down, but I never got to say good bye in person when she was in hospice care.
I miss her every day. (I am crying now.) She may have made some poor partner choices, as I did, but we ALWAYS took care of each other for almost 40 years. I miss Christine a lot.
