    I like that Trap Door for the Spare tire ! I'm sure you have spent a lot of $$$ ! Best Quality build I 've seen in a long time !!

      @@rgsabat My 8 x 8 x24 was around $5800.00 with the Rear door wench . But your materials were top of the line ! I did buy the side door from Doo Little Manufacture here In Missouri ! Again Good Job !

      Thanks, just regular brush on rust paint from the hardware store.

    Great build! How did you attach the tread plate to the frame? Are you worried about galvanic corrosion over time?

      Thanks. I used self tapping screws. Yes, galvanic corrosion could be problem, I didn’t think about it while building. It could have been mitigated by putting an insulator between the steel and aluminum.

    What thickness of tread plate did you use? Do you feel that’s held up over time?

      I used 1/8" tread plate and held up really well. For the strength to weight ratio, I highly recommend.

      Thanks, rustoleum oil-based black paint from the hardware store.

    Hi, what kind of stainless steel do you use in it trailer?

      I didn't use any stainless steel, just regular steel for the beams and aluminum.

    what kind of paint are you using?

      It's oil-based paint. In Canada, it is called Tremclad, in the US it is called Rustoleum.
