It looks like everything is pre-drilled and it is just a matter of being careful to flush everything out. I can tell you're being careful with all of that but I believe this job requires two people. This is a great video which I will compare with the installation instructions from the company. The only thing I did not see in this video is how to connect the Gazebo to the concrete. I have got to bid a job installing one of these and have not seen the situation yet so there must be some sort of concrete anchors in place or I will have to install them myself. I will watch the video to the end in case it comes up. Thank you man I can tell you are a careful Carpenter.
Question - my final step is to put the roof is on. Two of my posts are slightly not level. Once the roof is on, I should be able to slightly push the posts where they need to be, anchor to my deck, and be good, right?
Thank you for all the good info that helps I have one Costco Grand Gazebo on its way is it possible to get a vertical measurement Centerline of the post from the bottom to the top of the aluminum To get the permit they are asking 5ft from the property line but they are going off YARDISTRY schematic which says 10.4 ft I am trying put it at 4ft from the property line so it can draw up the permit with that measurement so if I can get that measurement that would be nice Thank you
On the last short roof segment. I noticed the beam to roof bracket was initially installed and it revealed the same problem I have. The short beam segment was put together inside out. The hardware should be on the outside and with it on the inside there s no place to install the center roof to beam bracket. Curious how you problem solved that. Did you just leave that center roof to beam bracket off? Or did you find a different way to secure it in the middle?
Very good video. I like the little important pointers in the middle. I plan to install my 12x12 gazebo next week on my patio. But my patio is flagstone pavers which has some natural contours on the surface so it isnt absolute flat surface. So your comment around ensuring perfect level & squaring for the posts kind of worries me now...Should i use wood shims underneath the posts to maintain even level for all posts? Or is there any other better option here? Thanks Ps: since i am in urban neighborhood without much strong winds, i didnt put any concrete footings under the patio for gazebo. Plan was to just let it sit on top of pavers as its pretty heavy on its own. Thanks

Good video overall but leaves out key details pertaining the ridge clip weather seal installation and ridge cap installation common issues. Yes manual has this step but its confusing, I did find another video on CZcams by posted by someone else.
We assemble gazebos during summer time, is just me and my helper, take us like 6hrs but we know already the gazebo, we do this type of gazebo 2-4 times per week, we do charge $600 including anchoring to the concrete or a deck.

Just wanted to confirm the beam on this side 14' is backwards. Closest to the camera. We install these gazebos all the time takes max 2 and a half hours from opening box to completion. Good job anyway!

You Mean 2.5 Days as it takes 1 hour to remove all the plastics from the roof, at least one hour per roof panel and to measure, balance etc,,, then to build each top side etc... My Costco assembly guy said it is impossible to do this from box to build in 2 hours and if anyone can show this on a video and post to youtube he will give $10k to that person as his crew of 3 guys takes one day from start to finish.
@@U4Eye is a challenge then, I will get 6 people to get this done in 2 1/2 hrs, we have done this one under 6 hrs working only 2 people, and you are right take like one hour to remove all the plastic and to unpacking all the stuff.

No one can get it done in 2.5 hours... Even if the plastic is off and you have 3 people. You have to wait for steps to be completed first...

Hello, it depends on what you really want to do with the post but you don't need any gravel in it, the Gazebo is already heavy.

If you watch this video - at the 19:00 mark - they massed up the roof installation and they didn’t show us how the unmessed it up.
they installed the metal brackets. Manual says to NOT INSTALL them on the last segment prior to putting it in place.
