Why buy/build a PC up to console costs if you're not competitive mouse and keyboard gaming. Even after the cost of a console it'll take a few hundreds more to forgo out of the box, hands free reliability. I'd put my time at over a grand. That's actually crazy but hilarious I have the most hated Nvidia card but that's because I didn't know what I was buying but I still have never had that issue
That guy was getting infinite fps on that 4080 s 💀
I work at a tech repair shop and out of nowhere starting this year we started getting people bringing in their pcs with nvidia driver issues. Everytime id fix this issue by rolling back the update to what windows installs(which is one month older) instead of the game ready driver. Nvidia seems to be just trying to push updates as fast as they can without much testing
The gpu drivers actually crashed multiple times throughout the entire tournament to different teams.
laughs in catalyst control center
Say it with me gamers
👏bring👏ECC👏to👏PCs👏
All I want is LP-GDDR7X-ECC to be a real thing
t400 here connected to a 65’’ tv. left the computer encoding over night, like usual. turned the tv on next morning, switched to pc input, lo and behold 640*480. on lock screen. on desktop. after restart. ALL other resolutions greyed out. in almost 30 years of tinkering with pcs i have never ever seen that, let alone on a personal rig. reinstalled drivers, all fine. but, still. weird one.
Outside of the pros, for the average user, consoles have really set the standard. Spending $$ up to console costs, reliability. Why buy/build a PC up to console costs if you're not competitive mouse and keyboard gaming. Even after the cost of a console it'll take a few hundreds more to forgo out of the box, hands free reliability. I'd put my time at over a grand. Only over a grand would my rig feel worth the pain in the ass for gaming. Of course my build was for WFH Business Intelligence software CPU and not gaming.
i watched the match live, this map was entertaining af, but when the dudes game crashed in such a crucial round me and almost everyone in the chat was screaming for the round to be reset (g2 supporter)
Yeah a single crash replaces the whole 1000+ threads on the AMD community page about CS2 crashing and freezing
Amd drivers are really good
Me who has a 3060: Oh thank god im safe
At least this is a blue moon thing. I was watching your Fortnite AMD video and went for a 7600, and unluckily I couldnt even get pass the battle bus before itd crash. DDU didnt work, reinstalling, nothing. So I had to return in and get a 4060
Amd drivers getting g the credit they deserve now 🔥🔥🗣️
“B-B-but AMD drivers are bad “😢
I mean crash pop up did show up but not for the Admins showing us the spectators pov
😂"heart breaking"🤣🤣🤣
I was confused about the same thing on my computer with my 2060 until I finally decided to check my driver's and that stuff now it should hopefully be fixed
If this sort of thing happens, that match should be done over.
Bro is more happy than AMD 😂
Amd be like: get ready bois
That's funny and also sucks. Also, the likelihood a Nvidia driver would crash during a tournament is much higher than AMD since most of their builds are with Nvidia but I can see why an AMD Stan would jump on a story like this lol.
As someone with a 7900xtx that’s working just fine: lmao
Feel very bad for this guy, but sadly this can happen with everyone. Both nvidia and amd.
Hey bro I am wanting a PC and I want to build one but my budget is only around 930$ I'm leaning towards the nzxt player one is this a good choice? I mean i would have enough left over for a monitor and the other things. But could you tell me if there is a better pre built out there for around the same price as the player one?
AMD : "First time?" 😂
shit happens. You get someone doing just the right thing in the right way and something can go wrong. Statistically speaking this isnt super surprising just unlucky
For more context. If the team who suffered the crash won that round they would have gone on to play in the playoffs. Instead, G2 won the map, blew them out on map 3 and qualified for the playoffs instead
Was this the match that got interrupted by goons from a gambling site?
You know, at least the Nvidia doesn't break the whole computer like amd used to...
any pc can randomly crash, if unlucky high energy particle from space hits wrong bit in memory, it happened before.
In my entire time with my RX 580 since 2019 till date, I never faced a driver issue on AMD and no game crashed ever.
