- In my previous video on "How Powerful is Benimaru", I promised to give a more comprehensive look at the overall Ranking System used in That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime and how did it work. So as promised, in today's video, I'll be giving you a full breakdown of the Ranking System, how Threat Levels of Monsters are measured, how Power Level are calculated and the Introduction of the Existence Value system.

I also feel like people down play rimuru's abilities without ciel but he is capable of controlling his aura, using his skills properly, and he can use different arts. Ciel optimizes his abilities and helps him solve difficult problems and fights but people seem to forget that Chloe has nearly the same thing with chronoa optimizing her abilities and unlike rimuru she has had thousands of years to hone her swords skills. In conclusion I believe rimuru is still very strong even without ciels help.
I will come out and say this.
All of his abilities without ciels help were BECAUSE ciel helped him, without her he would just be a surprisingly strong slime, but that's it.

@@espadangsword6220 by technicality, yes, but Ciel has her own soul nestled within the overarching Rimuru vessel. With her own personality, I treat her as her own person, even if technicalities are brought in.
So the ranking system is pretty much how humans view the theat level of the monster and the skill of the adventurer but it's a case of which monsters you don't want to piss off if you want to see another day!

Rimuru [EP: 8,681,123 (+ his "Dragon Blade" 2.28 million)] + Veldora [EP: 88,126,579] + Velgrynd [EP: 74,350,087] = total [EP: 173,437,789].
Veldora has the most, because he has the most megicules of all 3 Dragons (Velzado has 76 mio something(excact Value isnt mentioned))
Existence Value is 2/3 megicules and 1/3 strength, so Veldora has more, even if he isnt as strong as the other 2

Well, if I remembered correctly... You can only truly capture Rimuru's EV once you add in Veldora and Velgrynd's EV together with His... So, Rimuru's 10M, Veldora's 88M and Velgrynd's 70+M.

Does anyone know Chloe’s ep am curious cause she is true dragon level and Rimuru said when he manas was in charge her he felt like a true dragon was right in front of him so he called Veldora to fight her
2:35 in the manga yes rimuru was given these monsters as his level up challenge but it was because the A rank adventure assigned for the test wanted to fail rimuru so he purposely used monsters that where a really high level and for example the dark goblin was said to be a B or even B+ rank monster and the lesser demon was said to be a A+ level monster

Yeah the problem with Ranking Monster is that they are rank with how much EP/ magicules they have or whether they are named or not, not how much skilful they are, and that's what makes the ranking monsters so vague and not 100%. Ranking monsters don't take in account how skillful they are. A great example is is when Rimuru first me the Ogers and his training with Hakurou. Rimuru is at least 10x than them in EP, but when it came to clashing with swords in their 1st encounter and training, Hakurou who was way weaker than him in EP was able to easily defeat him.
Another problem is when it comes to ranking Rimuru's 12 Subordinates. As mentioned before, they are ranked in EP (note: Rimuru's, 12 Patrons Existance Valalue (EP) inVol.16 ch. 2). His top 3 strongest are:
1. Carrera [EP: 7,013,351 (+ "golden gun" 3,370,000) = 10,383,351]
2. Diablo [E.P.: 6,666,666]
3. Benimaru [E.P.: 4,397,780] + ("Red Lotus" 1,140,000) = 5,537,780]
However, when it comes to hist 3 most skillful Subordinates. His subordinates that can utilise their ability the best. Also tap into small part of Rimuru's power of his Ultimate Skill (e.g., Nihility collaps). There are only 3 of his subordinates that can do that from strong to least. (Reference: LN + WN (info around Tenma War Arc)).
1. Diablo
2. Benimaru
3. Zegion

For now in the LN it is considered that Benimaru is weaker than the Primordials and Zegion.
@@ValtenBG No that's not it at all. The Ln stated that Benimaru has less existence value/ magicule than 2 of the primordial, that all. Not that he is weaker than them. You can have less magicule than someone but still be more skilful than them and beat them.

@@davidokegbile7246 It's not about the EV or EP. It is about overall fighting experience. There is no way someone with 10 years of fighting experiance(other than Rimuru) to defeat someone with lets say 1000 when they are on the same power level. This is what I mean

Make a video on what gift the subordinates of the 12 patrions receive after their ascension to a true demon lord and you can add rimuru to that what his subordinates receive after his ascension
There are 4 times that Rimuru's subordinates has evolved in the story so far. The are:
1. When Rimuru named everyone citizen (Goblins, Ogres, Orcs and Lizardmen etc). Evolution process consists of:
Goblins - Hobgoblin, Ogers - Orger Mages, Orcs- High Orcs, Lizerdmen - Dragonewt.
2. When Rimuru Evolved to True Demon Lord, all the people he named received their blessings (e.g., for some, especially the battle oriented subordinates - they recieved Unique Skills. Others blessings includes the female citizens looking for human and feminine etc).
3. The Reward Ceremony Rimuru hosted, after the defeat of the 700k plus Easter Empire troops. Including the Evolution of the Black Numbers before Rimuru went of to fight Velgrynd and rescue Veldora. Rimuru granted 100k souls to his 12 subordinates that met the requirements to evolve to a True Demon Lord.
4. The Evolution of skills of some of Rimuru's battle oriented subordinates (especially his 12 Patrons) during the time he was fighting Velgrynd and after he named Raphael Ciel which evolvedinto a Manas Core . Ciel evolved or strengthened Rimuru subordinates skills during their fight Against Rudra's elite army so they can gain the strength to win their fights.

Rimuru true EV is Veldora’s 88 million plus Velgrynd’s 72 million, total 162 million, but that is if he consume them. One true dragon release consume 30% of his EVs. Since he released 2 of them, the balance of his EVs are 64.8 million. But in LN it is stated that his EV are 8 million. Why? My theory is that most of his EVs were consumed during his evolution from demon slime to ultimate slime and his skill evolutions which Void God Azathoth took the most of it since it is the most powerful skill ever in that world. That skill can literally create another world with nihility collapse (Veldanava use the same skill to create this isekai world)
Rimuru is a very lucky man/slime.
The energy was used to create his true dragon body,so when he is in that form his existence value skyrockets,bczo he his in true dragon form,it's like in his fight with velgrynd where we understand difference between human and dragon form,their forms pros and cons like that when he is in slime form his existence is still lower than true dragons

@@ompawar4050 No I don’t think he can transform in a dragon. He’s not really a True Dragon Race. He’s just a subrace of True Dragon that has a True Dragon Core. Wait I take it back about I don’t think he can transform. Maybe he can in later volume but for now there’s no mentioning about the transformation

anyone with an EV over 2 million(or beings close to it with growth potential) are considered divine spirits so so the real level for strong monsters are 100,000-500,000-1,000,000-2,000,000-10,000,000+ So all the end game big dogs have 10million+EV Dagrul, Guy, Milim,True Dragons, Micheal, Feldway, Zelanus, and Rimmuru, Possibly Chole too.

i feel like the EV of some characters are a bit outdated compared to some of the things you mention in the video.
Rimuru essentially consumes two true dragons you say, and yet he still has 10 times less than veldora.
Doesn't rimuru essentially becomes the creator god able to move between worlds, even returning to his own original world where he first died?
Good comment but the problem is, how do you expect me to update new EVs considering that the author didnt really give us any updated ones beyond that and I mostly avoid making my own assumptions about it 😐

Would be nice if there was a true single numerical value that detailed physical capability and one for magicule content in comparison to what a single EV then would be. That way you could just calculate what the baseline EV for a character was irregardless of their skills.
Rimuru's total EV is actually his 8mil + 2m(sword) and the Ev's of both Veldora and Velgrynd

Vendors ev value is calculated at about 10% of what rimuru should be unsupressed. The values shown match closer to preawakenned rimuru with his ability fully suppressed. His values after the last season should be around 900 millions.
they should have put a class in between disaster and catastrophe because there are a lot of disater classes that just cant be on the same level as other disaster classes like rimuru,diablo,zegion,demonese trio,benimaru,shion,etc.(they could have put somethin like catalyst class stronger than disaster class weaker than catastrophe class)

I would have put Rimeru at closer to Veldora Tempest, but then he's only been on this world for a very few years & the top dogs like Veldora, Guy Crimson (Primordial Rouge) & perhaps Luminus Valentine have been around for untold Aeons...
Consider also that Rimeru has been tremendously generous with his Magicules, giving hundreds of thousands to his main subordinates & maybe slowing down his growth because of it...
The real problem with any ranking system in a world where individuals can have one or more Ultimate Skills (some with the stunning usefullness of Great Sage / Wisdom King Raphael, or Gluttony / Beelzebuth, Lord of Gluttony), is that you could get newborns with the potential power of an A ranker. What was Milim like when she was born? After her "Brother" was killed & she went bat-shit crazy, activated to True Demon Lord state, annihilated the entire nation which was responsible & fought Guy Crimson to a standstill for 7 days. If Milim isn't the strongest being (short of a God) that there is on *_Central Axis World_* / *_Kijiku Sekai,_* then she's damn well close...
Rimuru used Veldora's power to give nearly all of his names, which is also why the power of the name is so crazy every single time, there's no way he could have ever named Diablo when he did without an external source of naming power and also why Diablo respected Rimuru's strength from the beginning even though Diablo's demon rank was higher than Rimuru's when they met. It's just one of the million times Raphael/Ciel does not fully explain how Rimuru is capable of doing things.

As i understand from novel Rimurus 8 (10) milions of ep are not representetive at all, because if consumes back Veldora and Velgrind, he will get their ep which together about 170 millions. Also Rimuru was dominating above Michael ( ~90M) and in 20vol of ln, when Ciel lend a bit of rimurus strenght to benimaru he was able to atack with strenght of "tenth of millions"

Technically as of vol 16, rimuru’s true ev is the combined Ev of veldora and velgrynd. 10M is just base rimuru when veldora and velgrynd is out of his stomach.

and not officially stated as the end of volume 19 his EP should be roughly 98 million plus veldora, velgrynd, and velzard. velzard is stated to have a higher EP than veldora.
Didn’t they say Velzard had the highest EP after Veldanava but after veldora was born he took that spot 88 million she just has more control of hers and power so she easily beats him and Velgrynd

Rimuru’s total EP right now would be 108 million plus Veldora plus Velgrynd.
@@veldanava7236because he ate Michael right well the sword Rimuru has is his own so that 10 million and other can’t use it how he does because he had it at unique grade and it evolved from that to legendary then gained sentient and became Mythical grade when he became true dragon sub species so it won’t acknowledge someone else also put this into consideration if he use any armor at unique grade rn it would instantly become legendary or mythical grade because of his magicuels influence and become a god class weapon for the rest of its life oh shit Rimuru can mass produce mythical grade weapon he just need to influence the material with his magicuels

As I was reading the LN, Velgrynd made a comment about how much Rimuru's magicules were fluctuating and even approaching/surpassing her. Further, this was with his soul corridor to Veldora closed. On top of that, his ultimate skills which drastically effect EV had evolved from kingly skills into godly skills and a manas during the fight. Finally, he was able to eat Velgrynd in one go after she activated a technique that could probably have obliterated a small continent.
I think the reason his EV is so low is because he becomes significantly more dangerous when he is angered. While he is calm and relaxed, I feel like he seals away most of his lethality.
I'm really, after the cliff hanger ending of vol 18, whether Yuuki is going to become the EoS villain again. He made a great EoS villain in the WN and a lot of people really liked him as the EoS villain. At least I really liked him as a villain and I was glad that Rimuru didn't beat him with the power of friendship and turned him into a good guy again. Yuuki is definitely one of my favorite characters in the series.

this isnt just your theory, its a literal statement in the light novels that rimiru Is holding back since he doesn't want to hurt anyone. its a major plotpoint. however, most don't ever seen to notice this even though its outright stated several times.

what I dont understand fully, Guy is a Primordial Demon, Diablo and co are also Primordial Demons, Milim despite not being a true dragon is a true demon lord, Veldora her uncle is a true dragon.... why aren't they and others that fit this criteria considered ''demon lords'' or ''true demon lords''?

Next Dagruel isn’t a true demon lord because the power he has he was born with it he came into existence with it he didn’t gain it same for true dragons the ultimate skill and other fighting abilities and the ability to move in suspension world yes those were learned since dealing with Veldanava I believe he taught Velzard that ability Dagruel fought Veldanava many times as the mad titan so he learned it from him to being a true titan it’s easy for these beings to learn these things guy is a true demon lord cause he took souls made physical body from thousands of corpses then named him self to gain the power the angels like primordial ones they already have ego and names from Veldanava so all they need is a body but the body has to be made from thousands of other bodies so the vessel is strong and won’t collapse but unlike demons they don’t need souls they already have power from awakening demon lord to true dragon level once they get physical body and also have Ultimate skill because Veldanava gave them it when their minds were strong enough for one
Insect race are different they can either do what the angels did or they can do what monsters and demons did if the insect members are like Zegion and apito who came to the physical world weak they need to be name and trained to the next then given souls to awaken but if they reach awaken level above 1 million and higher 2 to 8 million or like Zelanus 40 million they just need come over into physical world because Zelanus almost always names them when he see them after their birth, they fight in spiritual world against Ivarge and the cryptids this push them to awaken level and they also cross over to the demon world (another spirit world) to fight the demons or primordial demons they can take material from everything and anything in the physical world to make bodies so no they don’t need to get corpses like the angels or demons
Theseare the different categories of awakened beings they can take true demon lord or true hero title because of their power but the power balance is to much to hold up and humans would panic too much if you look at it this way everyone that took in angel power those who are like kagali tear footman a Vega the eastern empire soldiers they were all calamity or near disaster level then the merge with angel power these are technically all true hero copies they all have ep 1.4 million and higher making them awaken beings just like having a elemental spirit in you like the children you are now ageless have many resistances to physically attack magic elemental and spiritual attacks and now capable of regenerating from attacks that would have killed you before the angel gives you Holy Spirit energy is the same energy a true hero has in them these are the ones who can take true hero title then there’s the saints like The elf clans and Hinata and empire elites , Yuuki they have ultimate skill and are equal to awaken and true demon lords
The insect race are from spirit world but that world has huge amounts of demonic energy so when they cross over that is multiple true demon lords being because they have demonic energy in them their bodies have the same properties a mythical grade weapon or armor has because of their internal magicuels this plus they are originally spirit if all these being took on title of true demon lords and became apart of the council
