Hello everyone!
Yesterday the album [Remastered Soundtrack] Touhou 3: Phantasmagoria of Dim.Dream made by @ParadiseofBoundaries was released.
As in the previous album, I participated and contributed several tracks so I'll be uploading them in my free time.

Somehow I was very motivated to make this arrangement. The only style which I think suits this track is PCB. A light intro and then a frenetic base... The trumpets were an addition to my taste, it makes it sound more intense, just what I think you are looking for in a Pre-Battle. Maybe I exaggerated a little bit though.
Sorry for the delay. I got a little lazy and didn't get around to working on the videos.
There are still a lot of themes to go so I hope you'll forgive me.... Next up will be Strawberry Crisis!!!

Wow, that really pleases me. I'm very happy that you made another PCB style arrange.
Here you managed to reproduce the style well again, I love it. The intro is solemn and atmospheric and then come the really powerful sections with these chaotic drums and bass. All of this wrapped in a mythical atmosphere. Everything is well done, and the references are very non-obvious, which gives a lot of personality to this arrange, and others you've done.
This arrange makes the theme much more dynamic. I found the trumpet exaggerated the first time I heard it, but soon after I really liked it, even though he screams so much (just like I like that screaming trumpet in Cinderella Cage). I feel like this trumpet with this melody would be something ZUN would do, it is very authentic. I also like the beats at 1:10 and that ending, with this dissonant acoustic guitar, it was really beautiful and cool.
I have a doubt. I wanted to know if you used any direct references to make this part 0:23 ~ 0:45. The way you use the acoustic guitar, progress the sections, use the drums, the bass, this is extremely familiar, but I don't remember a track that has all this implemented in a very similar way. If not, you blew my mind with how you implemented the style so authentically.

Thank you very much, I wanted to try again to do the PCB style, but this time adapting the ideas better (AND mixing in a similar way).
Luckily the structure of this topic helped me a lot to better grasp the idea.
About the section from 0:23 ~ 0:45
Ummm, the only idea in mind I had in that part was to do something similar to "Ultimate Truth" since this is the final Stage and both songs share a similar context.
The drums are slightly inspired from there, but the rhythm changes and so on I didn't take any reference, I just did it thinking about how PCB would sound.
The acoustic guitar is not inspired by any track I think I remember, I had in mind that some PCB tracks play quite a lot of arps (especially in the Bass) so I decided to put Guitar there to match the Bass arp and make the track feel fuller.
For the bass I just remembered how it's used in some PCB tracks (Bass arp type) the little that comes to mind are "Charming Domination ~ Who done it!" and "Ghostly Band ~ Phantom Ensemble", etc.
The flute... I don't think I was inspired by any specific track.
*The intro is strongly inspired by the Menu theme (Although it's too obvious)*

Thanks for explaining. So it really surprised me how well you did that. Even though I really love your other PCB arrangement, this one is definitely more authentic.
I understood the inspiration for the introduction. And the final part reminds me of PCB Ending theme.
The other day I watched the cutscene in which this theme appears while its arrangement played synchronously. It was cool to do that.@@KarlZuniga

I've been making progress on Tiny Shangri-La and A Brave and Leisurely Beast, but I'm going at a slow pace as I'm preparing the videos that still need to be uploaded from TH03 Remastered. As soon as I finish uploading these remastered I will continue with TH19 :)
